We just moved into town recently and were craving drunken noodles. Google said Thai Chang had them, so we went for it. Their online ordering is really easy and convenient for switching to vegetarian options. We order Drunken Noodles, Drunken Fried Rice, Garlic & Pepper Tofu, Spring Rolls, Sweet Sticky Rice, and Tofu Soup. I thought that was enough variety for the first order. I parked, walked inside, and was immediately greeted by a man and a woman with a big smiles on their faces and this positive energy that made me feel like everything was going to be ok. I told them my name for the food pickup and it was brought out. As I was about to pay, we started talking about how I was new to the area and she told me she was going to give me a surprise as a "Welcome to the neighborhood". She goes to the back and comes out 2 minutes later with a freshly mixed Thai Iced Tea. It was so thoughtful and I really appreciated it. We get home and take everything out of the bag. Every item is clearly marked and safely packaged. Nothing was forgotten. Nothing leaked. I dig right into the Drunken Fried Rice and it's amazing... and SPICY! It has that rolling spice that gets hotter the more you eat. The Thai Iced Tea put out the fire when needed. It wasn't too much heat. Just enough to enhance the flavors. The Drunken Noodles were great! The soup tasted like the broth had been simmering for hours to get that rich taste. The spring rolls were crisp, clean, and not greasy. The sweet rice was a perfect dessert. But by far, the standout dish for me was that Garlic & Pepper Tofu. Oh My Goodness! I've never tasted anything like it. It's a dish you could easily over-season, but it was so perfectly balanced. There was a lot of garlic in it, but it didn't taste overly garlicked (if that makes any sense). The bottom line with this place is that they really know how to make amazing food and make you feel good ordering it. It's not expensive, but it sure tastes that way. We'll be ordering from here again and again and I highly recommend that you try...

I’m a picky eater and I usually don’t eat my veggies. But when I ordered the Chicken Pad see ew I finished my whole plate it was so good. I’m originally from Queens, NY where you have every international cuisine just a walk, cab or MTA ride away. And I’m not a food critic but I LOVE my food and Thai food is one of my favorites. But there’s a lot of Thai restaurants out there in Queens and not all of them are good. My favorite by far is “Spicy Shallot” in Woodside. And if Thai Chang opened up a restaurant right across the street, they’d give them a run for their money. Probably one of the best most authentic Chicken Pad see ew’s I’ve ever had. I got a 5/10 for the spicy and it was perfect. My wife got the half crispy duck in tamarind sauce and she said it was delicious as well. Definitely recommend going to this place if you’re looking for decent priced, authentic Thai food. We will be coming back here with our friends and family. Pat, the owner is also a wonderful lady. She made me and my wife feel very welcomed for our first time here. Just give them a little time because it is a small family owned business and her daughters were helping out as well. Thai Chang is now my favorite Thai restaurant in PA. 10/10 would comeback for more. Thank you Pat to you and...

I was in the Stroudsburg area for business. It was near lunch and I passed Thai Chang and figured I'd give it a try since I love Thai food. There is construction going on in the area so I missed the driveway to enter and had to go a ways up to turn around and come back. Upon entering, I was greeted by a very pleasant young man who advised to sit wherever I wanted. I was the only person there since they opened only 10 minutes prior to my arrival. I ordered the spring rolls and Thai iced tea to start. The spring rolls and dippi g sauce had great flavor, but the rolls were small and lacked a lot of filling. For my entree, I had the pineapple rice with chicken. It arrived very hot and freshly made. The jasmine rice was cooked to perfection and had great flavor. The chicken, pineapple, cashews, and raisins gave it great balance and various textural dimensions that enhanced this entree. The server was very friendly and engaged in conversation with me. I enjoyed this meal and atmosphere and would return again when I'm...

$8 for a handful of calamari that tastes like fishy onion rings. I don't think they're cooked or maybe they're old but after a few bites I can't force myself to have any more. The drunken noodles aren't bad... Just unseasoned with big chunks of all the ingredients. It's so bland and I don't have Thai seasonings but it's edible. RESPONSE TO OWNER This is the first time in my life I've ever had to throw out calamari immediately after buying it. I was nauseas the rest of the night after eating almost two whole pieces and the only reason i didn't return the food and ask for my money back is that it was already getting late and I had work the next day. And if you call the drunken noodles seasoned... With what? It was so bland. I would say try some of the food you are about to give to a customer next time or if that actually tasted okay to you then hire someone else to taste it for you because that experience was enough to keep me away

4/24/23: back for a Solo dinner... Pad Thai and Tom kha. The pad Thai was on the sweet side, not my favorite but still ok 10/15/22: back for dinner with the GF. She had the Mango curry and like it very much (could have more veggies in it). I had the Pad-se ew w/chicken, it was good. I also had some tom kah soup and it was decent, a little salty and sweet. Service was good, friendly and fast. BYOB 9/27/21: back for lunch with a friend. I had the drunken noodles w/chicken. It was good. Thai iced coffee was good. The Thai iced tea was very sweet and they make it ahead of time, so you can't get it unsweetened. 9/2020: We ate here a few weeks ago. We were the only ones in the place & it was our first time. The food was good and the service was very personable obviously. I had Pad Thai (my standard first time dish) it was good and was a nice portion. My Gf had a curry dish, she liked it. We'll be back.

I hardly ever leave reviews for restaurants, but I came here this evening and was so impressed. I went with a really good friend of mine. For APPS we shared the spring rolls and fried dumplings which are the best I’ve had in a while. We then shared the Seafood Fried Rice and the Dragon Noodles. Both were absolutely delicious, but the noodles were so amazing. Our food came out at a reasonable time and Pat seemed to be the only server. She chatted with us for a bit and was so kind. I will definitely visit again soon. I haven’t found a good Thai Spot since I moved out here from New York. I was so happy. Such a good first experience. I wish I would’ve taken pics of the food, but instead I took a pic of the outside, so I wouldn’t forget the name of this place. 😁 Oh and the vanilla fried ice cream was great too!
