I dont know why this place was voted #1 bagels in the east coast. But it definitely is not. To start off, the had 4 bagel choices to choose from during lunch. Orange Cranberry , Cinnamon, Pumpernickel, and Jalapeno. Not even a regular bagel to choose from. They girl said that's all we have. See the pictures below. Second, the girl left my debit card in the machine and walked of to the back to make my bagel, came back , gave me my new Yorker bagel sandwich and the payment still wasn't processed, by this time I sat down ate half of my bagel sandwich and she said sorry , our machine is slow. I said yeah very slow , has that been reported? Then she said it was declined, and asked I had cash, I said no, she put the card through again and then it went through after a bit. From the time she went to the back to make my bagel my card had already been in the machine till the time I almost finishing my meal. 15 MINUTES to process a payment. My meal came out to $12.80 for a drink, a tiny bag of kid size chips, and a bagel sandwich. I should have gone next door to subway ,literally next door and ate a complete meal for half the price. Mind you this place for being #1 rated in the east coast is definitely a 1 Star rating. This place was empty and I sat alone in the place which I think if it was #1 rated people would coming from all over. Dont be fooled by the sign.

Max's Bagel's is a gem in Stuart and I can't sing its praises enough. Finding a parking spot outside Max's Bagel Shop is a breeze, thanks to the ample parking spaces conveniently located right by the entrance. No circling the block endlessly or squeezing into tight spots here! From the moment you step inside, the inviting aroma of freshly baked bagels wraps you in warmth. The selection is impressive, offering everything from traditional plain and sesame bagels to exciting options like everything and cinnamon raisin. It's not just about the bagels – the sandwiches are where Max's truly shines. Each creation is a work of art with generous fillings bursting with flavor. Whether you're craving a classic bacon, egg, and cheese or something more adventurous like the Western, Max's has you covered. And let's not forget the service – the staff here are always friendly and efficient, making sure your order is just right every time. If you're a bagel lover like me, Max's Bagels is an absolute must-visit. You won't be disappointed!

My first visit, I used the drive thru window. You order fave to face with a person, that was nice. The young lady was super helpful with understanding the options available. (The menu posted is difficult due to age). I purchased a bagel sandwich (chicken salad on jalapeño bagel); drink, chips, and side cream cheese for $13.07. I really enjoyed the sandwich. The bagel was warm, soft and tasty. The chicken salad was perfect. I will definitely be back again. This place is a gem.

I’m docking a star cause it seems a bit expensive for what it is. The quality was good. The bagel was good. The service was fine. I would’ve rather paid $0.50 less and not gotten the bag of chips. They really added no value for me. I got a bagel sandwich shortly before they closed. They still had a good variety of bagels left. I got plain and had it toasted, I thought it seemed fresh. The sandwich itself was well filled and tasty. It’s just kind of ordinary for the prices. I got a turkey club it was $8.50 with a little bag of chips. I mean not the end of the world price but there’s 3 bagel places in a mile or so of each other and this one is just not offering what the others are for...
