If you love coffee and great service then you need to AVOID this disaster of a business. I wanted to love this place so badly. The vibe is exactly what I was hoping for! Eclectic, chill and vintage (despite a little dust). That’s where the positivity ends, unfortunately. Took a chance and ordered drip coffee after 10am. My husband got a decaf latte. We tried to order the egg sandwich and they were out of eggs— so we got the stuffed avocados. As I feared, the drip coffee was old, cold, and burnt. Jealous of my husband’s latte, I went back to the cashier and asked to purchase a latte and a bag of the coffee beans while we were waiting for the food. The card reader wasn’t working so I paid cash for my latte and was unable to purchase the beans since I didn’t have that much cash on me. To be honest, that was a blessing in disguise. I wouldn’t have wanted to spend one more cent at this place. The staff behind the counter were so slow, lacked any sense of urgency and have no concept of customer service. I expressed that the coffee was cold and old and their response was “oh weird we just made it.” Well let’s think about that response for a second…. Wouldn’t that mean that the fresh coffee served at this place tastes awful? Got it. I was also not reimbursed for the disgusting coffee, nor was any amount taken off my next bill for the latte. In fact, a toddler must have created the pricing for the menu at this place. You can order a latte with two shots of espresso for 5$ meaning each shot turns out to be 2.50 if you consider the milk free. When you add one extra shot it’s 3$. I’m so glad I didn’t order my usual quad l! Explain the math on that one. At this point I was annoyed. But not a one star review type of annoyed. That took more time. Half an hour to be exact. 30 minutes after ordering—our avocados still had yet to arrive. When it did, The plate came out with old lettuce, and two avocados that you couldn’t cut into. They were so hard I initially thought I must be cutting into the seed or something! Nope. Just gross. We had finished both our lattes and waited for these avocados— and we couldn’t take a bite. When we brought them back to the counter I was asked “how was your latte?” And no acknowledgment of us bringing an untouched plate of food back. I said it was better than the coffee. We left. I wasted over 30min at this place. I paid for a terrible coffee that I didn’t drink and paid for avocados that were inedible. I’m the idiot that tipped 30% too. If only I knew when I ordered that the staff was incompetent and the food would be awful. I try to be reasonable when it comes to quality and customer service these days. With a Talent shortage and increasing costs— I don’t expect five stars by any means. But there were so many opportunities to actually make things right that were ignored. Customers can be reasonable if you say what’s going on and make any level of effort to accommodate them. That said, don’t go to this place. Just don’t do it.

@ DS DS review, I wish we had a million dollars. This is definitely not a "pet" project. My husband and I have put everything into this business since 2014. We have sacrificed a lot to make it through the pandemic and the increasing costs of operation. I think you meant to direct your personal attack to another person and we would strongly appreciate your immediate removal of this review as it has negatively affected our rating that we have worked very hard for. We have supported this community and they have supported us over the last 4 and half years. I encourage you to actually visit our location and meet us as we are here in the cafe sourcing all the crops, roasting the beans, training the staff, competing in national roasting competitions, continued education and serving the drinks alongside our amazing staff members. Cheers, Owners Mike & Stef

What a great spot !! Chill quiet vibes with an Acoustic guitar and records… they’ve got some board games cards souvenirs and great coffee and breakfast items like quiche, burritos and they even have beer taps and wine! I am Just visiting but if I lived here I would totally frequent this spot and do work here! We had the ham and cheese quiche, veggie burrito (spinach potatoes zucchini, cheese and salsa .. yum!) Macha green tea latte, iced chai Tea latte and a lavender vanilla honey latte. Delish! Josh was our barista and he was great and made some Excellent recommendations! It’s in a cool part of town too!

I don’t post reviews ever, but this time I think is necessary and meritorious . This past Sunday (1-19-25) I went to celebrate my birthday with my family. We agreed to travel halfway from Miami and Orlando to meet in Stuart, FL for a nice dinner.

After that, my niece, who knows my passion for music, vinyl records and good coffee, surprised me by taking me to this place. My first impression was “wow” my two passions combined in one place. What a cool concept, I said.

So, as all my family (14 members) walked into the shop just before 6pm, we started ordering. While on line and after taking our first order, the young lady at the register said: We are closing now, I cant take more orders. Leaving some of us in disbelief but immediately agree and stepped aside. The rest of us, oblivious to what was going on, were observing the place, flipping through vinyl records and complimenting the place. To our surprise, we were abruptly approached by another young lady stated: We are locking up and you all need to make your way out. No tact, no apologies or at least an invitation to come another day.

The problem here; the hours advertised were showing 8pm as the closing time and not 6pm. However, we all looked at each other, still in disbelief as it was a joke, and proceeded to exit and go to the parking lot in the back.

While there and commenting about what just happened, a gentleman arrived to also enjoy an evening coffee. To his surprise, the door was locked and while he questioned the employees from the outside. He asked us and we explained that we were just told to leave even though the closing time was 8pm. Also, that we were all told to look at a sign at the door…contradictory information maybe?

This gentleman was also in disbelief since he stated that he is a regular at this place and actually knows the owner very well. The gentleman was kind enough to apologize on behalf of the owner and told us he would let him know about how all 14 of us (15 with him) were denied service and “kicked out” of the coffee shop as the employees were walking behind us.

Maybe they make enough money and don’t need us as clients. Maybe it was just a bad day for those young ladies and they couldn’t be nicer or polite. Maybe it was just bad luck. But the truth of the matter is that something that was promising to be a great time with family on my birthday, turned out to be a bitter disappointment and bad experience without even being allowed to consume at the place. Not to mention that I am a vinyl enthusiast and collector with a tendency to spend quite some money on records every time I visit a store, which was also not possible that night.

My two cents, if you change your hours, try to update them on the internet. If you see 14 people getting into your business near closing time, be nice and let them know before they get the idea that they will be allowed to consume. If you have young people being the face of your business, let them know that EVERYONE deserves a fair treatment regardless of their age, ethnicity or any other identifiers. And yes, unfortunately I mentioned ethnicity because we were speaking Spanish, and I don’t want to think that was a factor for our rough treatment. At the end of the day, we were all customers willing to spend our money at your coffee shop.

Very disappointed about the poor experience at THE ROASTED RECORD...

FULL DISCLOSURE: I'm addicted to coffee.

Keep that in mind when I tell you that I have, with near-religious fervor, sought out every restaurant, cafe, coffeehouse, grocery store and even food truck on the Treasure Coast, seeking that perfect bag of dark-roast, whole-bean, yesterday-fresh roasted coffee.

The Roasted Record is, simply stated, the best f'ing coffee on the Treasure Coast.

I now make a weekly pilgrimage to their beautiful, sky-blue La Marzocco cappuccino-espresso altar, and worship a honey-drenched double espresso.

If you have read this far, you've realized I'm pretty serious about having a great coffee experience. The staff at this place makes me look like a noob fanboy.

Last week, I walked in to see a young barrista checking the espresso station with a LEVEL. I laughed, and asked, "You got it perfect; does a degree matter?" Dead-serious, he replied, "Absolutely," and continued to share with me the most detailed reasons why, in fact, it did.

So- if you just want 15-minutes to sit and sip a great cup of coffee in a relaxed setting, or if like me, you also need your weekly bean fix and need a couple of bags to take home -- The Roasted Record is Stuart's Mecca for good brew.

Oh yeah- They sell those records too, it you've gone...
