Went in for a bite while waiting for laundry to finish next door. Restaurant was clean and quiet, and we were seated right away. Our server was pretty good and friendly. My gf and I ordered the two egg breakfast, she got hash browns and ham and I got grits and sausage patties with a biscuit. The food was good, the reason I give it four stars is because when I got my food, my grits had butter, chives and chunks of garlic in it and the sausage was maple sausage, which is fine if you like maple flavored sausage and garlic in your grits. The grits were tasty but I wouldn't consider the style to be breakfasty, and I'm glad I messed up when I ordered and got scrambled eggs by mistake, because I like to mix my eggs and grits. But anyway, the problem with all this is none of it is mentioned on the menu. If you serve maple sausage, I want to know because I personally hate maple sausage. If your grits are fancy it should say so on your menu. This place just opened so I expect they'll be making some adjustments. I wouldn't discourage you from eating here, just don't want you to be surprised as I was. Prices are decent but portions are on the small side, I left hungry, and be prepared to pay a good deal extra...
Read moreThree Little Birds Cafe offers unique menu choices in addition to traditional breakfast and lunch favorites. From oatmeal and avocado toast to not-your-mama's omelette and Eggs Benedict choices, breakfast selections at Three Little Birds offer something for everyone. Eggs are served the way you order them, hash browns are hot and crispy and the coffee robust...and they keep your cup hot and full. So many choices! You'll likely start thinking about what you'll order on your next visit. You can go healthy or go full carb crazy with pancakes or waffles. Our table of four each had something different and everyone was pleased with their choice. And then there's the lunch menu! Three Little Birds Cafe for lunch as well. Reuben sandwich and a pressed Cuban look quite interesting to me! The atmosphere is relaxed you will not feel rushed yet your coffee cup will always be full. Service is excellent... The server delivered items piping-hot to the entire table and checked back twice to make sure we had everything we needed. Empty plates were removed and extra napkins appeared as soon as we needed them. The owner, Joe, is quietly in the background, making certain that everyone's dining experience...
Read moreI used to go here with family when it first opened and we always love the food and service. I am not sure what has happened but their service is horrendous (And it is not because of COVID or lack of staff because there was plenty of staff members just standing behind the back counter/bar top). The last time I went here, I had two kids with me and we waited an hour and a half for our food not to mention trying to get a refill (I had to flag other waitstaff members down) forget it. I really wanted to believe that was just an off day so my daughter and I went back today. We waited by the door for about 10 minutes and never got acknowledged so we walked out. During this 10 minute period, several of the employees just walked by us going out of their way (it felt like) to not acknowledge us while 3-4 employees stood at the back bar just talking and/or just standing there. We will most likely not return but I do hope that they figure it out because it used to be a favored spot for breakfast. The food can be amazing but with horrible customer service you have nothing. There are tons of breakfast joints to...
