Update 8/24/24 Revision - All of the original review is still true these years later... So much has changed in the last three years. First is, Hany Honey co. Has expanded. They doubled in in size and now have a cozy inside restaurant seating area where you can sit and enjoy your food and drinks, but not just in space, they have expanded in so many other ways, the menu has grown, they have really stepped up their game when it comes to making you feel like there is not enough time to try all of the many choices on the menu of which some are changing daily, one day the desert display may hold the most delicious chocolate/cherry/honey cream covered cupcakes and when you come looking for another, its an amazing cream filled peaches and vanilla honey cream cupcake you find in its place, and your not even upset that its different cause its all just so good, and the ever changing cookie selection will have you constantly looking in to see what options are on hand, from salted chocolate chip that sounds normal but is far from mundane, to the exotic fruits and nuts variety and even once found a green marshmallow/macha white chocolate version that was beyond satisfying. And that's just some of the sweets, the menu now has a daily soup that's selection is so diverse as to claim flavors such as african peanut soup, chili, split pea, chicken noodle and more, all of which once again are wonderful and unrivaled in the area. Also they now are doing Taco tuesdays where if you are lucky enough to get there before they sell out, you can find yourself eating something devine, and once again they change by the week, there is always a chicken variety but there is also a alternate selection of which I have seen fish, shrimp, spare rib and vegetarian, with so many options for toppings its a sensory overload that leaves you beging for more, but twice i have gone to get more and found it to be sold out already, so make sure you order enough. Then the drinks are just wow, so many fresh options in every category including coffee, tea, bubble tea, ginger beer and mead in an extensive library of different tasty choices that is made by Hani Honey's staff on site in small private batches that are so good it leaves you feeling as if you had a personal army of flavor specialists devoted to just your enjoyment, they have a selection of IPAs on tap and bottled as well. Then if all that isn't enough, the decor is of local art from real local painters and photographers and sculptors that is ever changing and supporting and providing for others in the very community they serve too. The staff is always great and I personally have never left unsatisfied with any service or product within, even after all this time. I look forward to my next visit and what it will bring. I would recommend this delightful diversion from the normal to anyone who is looking for something original and real and delicious. They really do make you want to come back, this is a great place where its easy to smile and forget the stress and troubles of the day, where the food tastes like someone actually cares and you can find a little happiness. I look forward to seeing what's next for...
Read moreI gave it one star only because I cannot give it zero stars. I drove all the way from Northern Port Saint Lucie and when I get there, it takes me to a single family home over run with weeds. A sign placed outside half hazzardly claiming Hani Honey Company. When we knocked on the door awkwardly and trepedaciously; I see a figure walk passed twice and no bother to answer the door. Google claims they are were open today till 3pm. I am home now and so dissapointed. I was hoping to be able to teach my children about the importance of bees in our ecosystems and instead was grossed out. If they are open, this is no way to run a business. If you want to make money you have to invest in the appearance in your business. Where's your pride? If they are closed and no longer in business; you need to take that sign down and update your google account. As a female and a single mother....I'm not walking up to any house that looks like that much less a business. Consider how many peoplen searching for your product, are being turned off. How much money are you leaving on the table. Not good...
Read moreThis is, by far, one of my favorite places to eat. This is my go-to eatery when I want my soul to feel nourished. The thoughtfulness that goes into every dish and drink that is prepared is done with love and I especially love that they source their meats, produce and fruits locally from organic sources. There is also a good variety of vegan options, as well as locally made fresh breads, desserts, (their in house chocolate chip cookie is one of favorites and cheesecake, something I regularly stop by for) empanadas, and delicious selection quiches! Most importantly, is how I found out about this amazing place is because when I visited this city for the first time, I found her honey and brought it back to my home state as a gift along with an healing bee balm butter cream for the skin that Jen whips up- so naturally, I had to know how I could purchase more. Fast forward to over a year later, I moved here right at the time she was opening her store and eatery. What a blessing to have this place to visit, as it reminds me a little of my home state and I always feel better...
