I've lived in this area since 1995, and I have never paid attention to the right side of the Roosevelt Bridge area. Then I decided to take the NW Old Dixie Hwy. that goes into Downtown Stuart. Then I noticed this Restaurant at the Marina. The physical address says 625 Anchorage Way, Stuart, FL. Which is the direct access to them if you come across the Roosevelt Bridge and at the bottom of the South side of the bridge you take the very first right. (SEE MAP) Now onto to the (MEAT) of the matter...PUND INTENDED! This beautiful location is set right on the water obviously. The building has some architectural features and decor that I will also note here as well. Please look at the PHOTOS I took of the location. I tried to get as much as I could without invading other people’s space. Artwork abounds even on the skylight. Now onto the meal and the staff: I sat at the bar and was greeted by my Server/Bar Tender Shawnie. She was delightful and engaging even though they were very busy. She also had another Server/Bar Tender with her Susan they were both on duty share the customer flow. They worked as a team taking care of everyone. Ian your barback was on their team as well helping out in keeping the liquor bottles on the shelves and taking away your plates. They were a great team upon my visit. I ordered a Sweet ICED Tea and perused the menu. I finalized my choice to the Prime Rib 14oz cooked Medium. The dish comes with a Baked Potato anyway you want it dressed up and Green Bean cooked Al dente. While I waited, I ran around taking the picture you see here. They also had live music and a father and daughter dancing too! I was served some freshly baked bread while I was waiting. They were lightly seasoned with a hint of garlic, and they were real delicious. Then 17 minutes or so and my main course arrived. The plate was piping hot so don't just reach out to hold it. You will not be happy if you do.....They do caution you on the plate too! The meat temp was good. The flavor on the other hand was amazing. Bravo to the kitchen staff on not use the standard seasoning from the purveyors. They either used something off the norm, or they mixed some together to create a unique but subtle taste that was absolutely fantastic. The Baked potato which was loaded was really good too. I ate the skin and all it was that good. I finished my meal as you can see, and I think that picture of a clean plate says it all to you. 5STARS +1 more. Exceeded this guest expectation by a mile. I defiantly recommend that you all take the time to go to this excellent place and enjoy all that they have to offer......BON APPETTI!!! I was also greeted with a beautiful RAINBOW upon my departure too! What a great capper to end a...
Read more4.7- it’s tough to give a 5 star rating; has to be top tier. This waterfront location is nice to enjoy a meal by the water. There are large umbrellas to shield from the sun without obscuring the view of the water and boats. The service is friendly and accommodating. The food is consistently delicious. I’ve tried the steak, salmon, chicken wings, roast beef sandwich. The steak was cooked to our liking medium rare. Seasoned nicely with the right amount of salt not causing us to reach for a glass of water. The baked potato was hot, soft on the inside and firm and slightly chewy skin. This meal with picture captured: The Caesar salad was not drenched in dressing and generous with the r Parmesan. Though it was slightly on the drier and bland side. I wouldn’t order it again but I recognize that finding an overall good Ceaser salad can be challenging. I enjoy fries. I prefer softer fries and these fries were dry and crispy; but they looked like they used fresher oil. They were a 3 stars in my book. Overall sandwich 4.0 but when you depict it, it gets lower with the process of ingredients. The roast beef sandwich was tasty- they were generous with the rare meat that could stand on its own. You can tell they used the romaine lettuce that was used in the Caesar salad. The wrap was good and the tomatoes were refrigerated so the tomatoes were just added without the juicy fresh tender taste that tomatoes should have. I could have done without the cheese because it the roast beef was good on its own. The horseradish dressing was on the side and it was mild that handed a nice compliment. This sandwich was good without or without the horse radish. The chicken wings in medium were mild. They were crispy on the outside and hot and tender on the inside. The wings were more dry and fried than I prefer- bit on the crispier side. Prefer just a bit crisp and juicy on the inside. But it was appreciated that they were hot on arrival. Mahi sandwich. This was a 4.9. The best item out of all the lunch items. Very good sandwich. The brioche bun was fresh and complimented the sandwich. The mahi was blackened. The fish was hot, tender and flaky; delicious. The topping of tomato and onion and pickle complimented the flavor. It didnt need the tartar sauce but I dipped it for a few bites. The tartar sauce was thick and creamy and mild in taste but a good compliment to...

Staff is very proficient, professional, but always personable. Service is really impeccable, with frequent check-ins and fast responses. Be aware that the kitchen has perfected timing...you will not wait very long for food to begin arriving.
The raspberry tea was tasty but not overly sweet, perfectly to my liking. The What A Pear cocktail was very fruity and pear flavored while blended with just the right amount of liquor. Deliciously addictive! 🍐
My order of the Eggplant Stack gives even high-end Italian restaurants a serious run for the money. The sauce used is incredible, and the addition of basil between eggplant slices is masterful. 🍆
Vegetarians - you can ask to have the proscuito served on the side, as I do. Not a problem.
My Sailor's Salad was fresh, well-composed with lettuce, fruit, seeds, and mild cheese. The citrus vinaigrette blends this into a refreshing and healthful entree.
My spouse had the Mahi-Mahi sandwich, and made quick work of it, too. A dedicated foodie, few words and finishing the plate equates with high approval!
The Orange cake is not to be taken lightly. It's a creamy, succulent dessert for two (or more!) as the establishment is not skimpy with the serving size, and the plating is wonderful. 🍊🍰
We finished with a Jamaican Coffee for my spouse, which was on the unexpectedly strong side, while I had the Sailor's Coffee (flavorful but also a bit too strong). It may be useful to advise the waitron on the alcohol proportion when ordering.
By now, your mouth should be watering. Get up, grab that special someone, and pay Sailor's Return a visit for the food and the waterfront view. You'll not be...
