Let’s start with the EPIC star of Uncle Giuseppe’s – Sierra. From the moment I walked in, Sierra’s radiant smile welcomed me to the restaurant. Her warmth and genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. She didn’t need to say a word; her smile was enough to convey the welcoming atmosphere here. Sierra’s exceptional service and quick recommendation of the house-made bread set the tone for a memorable lunch (dining)experience. Her pride in the restaurant and its owners was obvious, adding to the authenticity of the place. Ambiance and Authenticity: The authenticity is evident from the moment you walk in. The cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of a classic Italian osteria, it instantly transports you to Italy. From the rustic decor to the aroma of freshly baked bread and pizza, every detail contributes to the genuine Italian dining experience. Now, The Food: I came in for a light lunch, but my expectations were exceeded with their exceptional food. The calamari was a standout dish – hot, crispy, big and generously portioned. It reignited my love for calamari, which I had given up on in other restaurants. The garlic knots, also recommended by Sierra, were a revelation – perfectly toasted with just the right amount of garlic. And let’s not forget the slice of cheese pizza – thin, crispy crust topped with gooey cheese – it’s enough to make me want to walk back for more right now! The Drinks: I indulged in an aperitivo before my meal and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the drinks. The after-lunch lemoncello was homemade, and it was the best I’ve ever had, even surpassing those I tried in Rome. It was the perfect way to end my meal, leaving a lingering taste of Italy on my palate. The Overall Experience: My experience at Uncle Giuseppe’s was nothing short of exceptional. From Sierra’s outstanding service to the delicious food and authentic atmosphere, every moment felt like a culinary journey through Italy. Whether you’re looking for a light lunch or a hearty dinner, this place delivers an unforgettable experience that keeps you coming back for more. Conclusion: Uncle Giuseppe’s is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine served with a side of genuine hospitality. Sierra and the team at Uncle Giuseppe’s have created a dining experience that’s truly unforgettable. Grazie mille for a...
Read moreI had a fantastic lunch experience at Uncle Giuseppe's. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Our waiter was not only highly professional but also incredibly attentive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the meal. The menu at this restaurant is truly impressive, offering a delightful selection of authentic Italian dishes. From the classic pizzas to the delectable pasta dishes and a range of other Italian favorites, there's something for everyone here. The best part? The prices are quite reasonable, making it even more appealing. Additionally, the restaurant boasts a full bar, offering a variety of refreshing beverages to complement your meal. During my visit, I had the pleasure of indulging in their lunch meatball Parmesan sandwich, and I must say it was nothing short of excellent. The flavors were well-balanced, and the sandwich was prepared with utmost care. To enhance the meal, they also offer the option to add soup or salad for a small additional charge. I decided to go for the house salad with balsamic dressing, and it turned out to be a delightful choice. The combination of fresh ingredients and the tangy balsamic dressing made it a truly enjoyable salad. The outstanding experience I had at this restaurant has left me eager to return and explore more of their menu options. I'm particularly excited to try their pizzas, as I've heard rave reviews about them. With such a pleasant atmosphere and delicious food, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I understood, restaurant was busy. Told her we would wait outside. She came out to ask if it was okay if we sat on pizza side of restaurant. I told her that was fine. She informed us that they were just cleaning a table and we'd be seated momentarily. Then an influx of people showed up. Another party that came in after us are suddenly are seated at the table that was cleaned for us. The hostess is now telling me they are cleaning a table for us. Why? We were there first. Front of the house could not handle the influx of people. No excuses and unacceptable. If it is that busy, jump in and help the busser clear the tables to turn them over. Then we were crammed into a table that did not have nearly enough room. My husband had to keep moving every time someone needed in the cooler. No acknowledgment from a waitress until we were seated for almost 10 mins. Fine. Had our meal, it was fine. Although one of the dishes had broccoli and was not cooked well. I guess vegetables are not a thing that this restaurant can master. While having our meal, I noticed two tables that were not cleared for at least 15-20 mins. Not exactly the thing I want to be looking at while eating. We were in an area just inside the entrance with 6-7 tables--so 30% of the tables were left uncleared as the first thing you see coming into the restaurant. Would I recommend? Eh, maybe. Food is okay, but don't bother if it's busy. They can't handle it. Front of house is first impression....
