Dinosaurs Theme Chocolate Swiss Cake

We celebrated our baby’s birthday recently and ordered a Dinosaurs Theme Chocolate Swiss Cake as my boy is crazy about Dinosaurs, Sharks, and the Ocean. Habib walked us through all the options and what they had done on previous occasions patiently with us and helped us create a custom cake that had Dinosaur and jungle toys as well a Blue ocean theme. Everything went smoothly and when I went the day of the celebration to pick up the cake, I was ASTOUNDED. The cake as you can see in the picture turned out to be way better than we expected. The only thing better than the cake was Habib’s service. He was wonderful and I am eyeing the black Forrest cake the next time I am in the mood for dessert!

Everyone at the party praised the cake’s look and taste. We took the rest of the cake home and ate it over the next 10 days and until the last bite on the tenth day, it tasted as if it was made the same day.

Wife and I just moved to the Sugarland area and were looking for a great local cake shop. Two birthday cakes we are so thankful we found Symphony!

The black forest cake was perfectly balanced: moist and fluffy texture, perfect level of sweetness, just the right amount of frosting to perfectly complement the rest of the cake, a wonderful hint of cherry which really helps bring out the chocolate. After a slice of the cake I felt refreshed, a rare feeling for me after consuming a desert. For my birthday I had the Ferraro cake and again the cake had a delightful moist texture and the hazelnuts evoked a unique flavor that I haven't had on a cake before. My family enjoyed every last slice of each cake in the days following our celebrations.

Be sure to also try out their ice cream when you stop by, it's some of the best I have had in the greater Houston area! The owner was very friendly and hospitable to us both times we visited, can't wait to return for our next cake or a cone of ice...

The owners are very kind and one thing that sets them apart from the competition is consistency. Every single cake or slice that I have gotten from them has been fresh and tasted amazing. Unlike other bakeries, they are not cutting any corners and the quality of their products show this. Ive taken both friends and family here as well and they all have raved how amazing their cakes are! My favorite is the red velvet and its the best red velvet cake I've ever had in my life.
