Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Suisun City

High cost for low quality. Nights when our kids have friends over or we don't want to cook but want left overs, Popeyes is one of the great go to restaurants since you can order a family meal and keep the ordering process simple and fast. 99% of the time we go through the drive through on our way home from work. This evening we chose Popeyes for dinner and ordered a 16 piece family meal. When we got home we found that there was 1 breast, 3 drumsticks, 4 thighs and 8 wings. Half of our chicken "family sized meal" was the little wings. All of the chicken was really dark as if burned and looked "beaten up", missing most of the crunchy coating like they had been picked through and left under the heat lamps too long. The thigh and drumstick coating that was still on the chicken was soggy like they had been sitting on the bottom of the pile for some time, soaking up the grease of the piece itself and other pieces of chicken. We paid $76 dollars for this meal? We know prices have gone up everywhere due to inflation. Actually, tonight's meal was approx. $12 more than this same meal was 2 months ago when we paid $64 for it. Even $64 was up $20 from what we paid for this exact same meal 3 years ago. What we received this evening does not justify a $76 price. This is ridiculous. Mistakes happen and perhaps this was a mistake but for the cost, employees and managers need to make an effort to double check everything before it goes out, especially at that price. If this was the bottom of the pile, be transparent with your customers to let them know and give them the option to choose to order something else or wait for the next batch to be done. I am so disappointed in Popeyes. Tonight's dinner was not at all worth the cost. I'm pretty certain that Popeyes just lost...

Let me start off by saying the five stars is definitely not for the food it's for the service..Fried pickles are awful and soggy. Chicken better than before definitely..But on the plus side normally people leave reviews when something is wrong about 2 years ago I promised myself I would never go back to this Popeye's.. after so much rude customer service my orders being messed up the food not being cooked properly I was over it today I decided to go try their deep fried pickles and of course this one is the nearest one to my house so I said let me give it a try I'm very disappointed in the pickles I'm also very disappointed in their AI ordering machine but there was a Hispanic woman working the window at 11:00 this morning I wish I would have gotten her name. Not only was she smiling while dealing with the afternoon rush she was very polite she didn't rush me she made sure I got everything I needed before driving off. She made brief conversation and interaction even though she was busy..if it wasn't for her I probably would just scratch this Popeyes off my list completely but due to her amazing customer service skills just because the pickles were awful I'm still willing to give you guys a try you guys definitely need more people in your drive through windows that appreciate your customers ...I'm sorry I didn't get your name but you're doing a wonderful job there you're going to be the reason people keep coming back to...

The overall chicken is good. 5 stars. If you want fast food fried chicken, Popeyes is the way to go. I love it and would consider no other.

However if you order from this particular location you will completely understand why some want fast food workers to earn minimum wage and nothing more. This location is a shining example of ineptitude and bad management. To put it bluntly, they have messed up 100% of my orders. Not once have I ever had my order correct! To start off they will NEVER give you sauce--any sauce--ever. I'm still waiting for the day I get that Sweat Heat sauce. Secondly if you order spicy chicken, you will get mild. You want mild? Here's some spicy for you. Don't get me started on sides and how wrong they get those. I'm honestly starting to believe that the people here can't read.

I think everyone at this spot just doesn't care and they go out of their way to show just how much that they don't care.

Maybe a purge of all the employees, managers and all, at this location would be best because this place makes me hate Popeyes. Again, Popeyes the brand is absolutely amazing. I crave it and I advocate it... But whenever I order from this particular spot, I'm always think, "Maybe KFC isn't that bad." And...
