8.3.2017 Hello... This is a 👎 👎 bad review... I am a long time chicken fil-A customer in VA. and love the quality of the food compared to other fast-food places, when I go out to eat at any other Chicken fil-A restaurant in VA is a lot better..but this time I visited this one in District Heights MD store number 02608.I stopped by around 10.20pm and my order came out pretty fast I was impressed but it came out into a togo bag..and i wanted to eat inside. I was not treated well there.
I went and ordered the usual. But then when I was about to sit down a security guard. told me that the dining room was closed for everyone.. he was eating there when he told me that..now he can eat there but not a customer... And if I wanted to eat inside I could eat standing in the lobby... And obviously I felt mistreated.
They are open until 11pm everyday but Sundays. The manager(lady) Champaign Tuck. told me the same thing... i asked her for a corporate number to call. To top it off there were 2 employees eating in the dining room tables but not a customer, no one could sit down and eat after 10:30pm. But the employees could and still be opened for business until 11pm.
After, I got the corporate number l went out to the parking lot and eat in my car...then I called the number provided.
(The owner of this restaurant should change the hours of operations on Google Maps. if someone like myself is looking for this place in MD... That was the reason i went there)
So.... I called the corporate number to tell them about the incident. And a lady(Nicole) that answered...made me feel underminded and that corporate number just takes complaints and bad comments. And that's all she can do by phone...and my comment will be delivered to the right people. after undermining my complaint. I felt that it was not taken into consideration.
Now if this is how Chicken Fil-A handles a complaint of this nature... Well... It's not a good sign at all...I got the feeling that Mr, Trevelle Harvey (owner/operator of this franchise restaurant) and the Management team seem not to care at all... That's why ...thank God. Google reviews are for....so people can know how 👎 (horrible) this was handled. I hope you guys (corporate) do something about it.
8.3.2017 almost forgot I noticed a few mins after that incident...the employees were still eating in the dining room when it was supposed to be closed to all, and they still be opened for business. It was supposed to be closed to all the costumers but the employees. that was around 10:50pm very 👎
8.6.2017 I had sent a request to Google asking to modify the hours of operation for this business profile and it was approved. I hope the owner of this Chicken fil-a business can do more than just that....still a bad review
8.9.2017 even worse almost a week later another bad experience by phone.... Very 👎 👎 bad. I just got a call from someone from the restaurant did not tell me his name. not to apologize only just to tell me the same to remind me of the business hours of operations and what happened... Great way to go... who ever called me....he had not people's skills and wouldn't make a difference. not going back to that restaurant anymore... Even if they did invite me back or just applogize which he did not by the way.
The guy who called, sounded like a young man... obviously he did not know how to handle an upset customer over the phone and actually he just hang up (slammed the phone) after I told them that it wouldn't make a difference now after almost a week for the call...I said I am not going back to that place..... Well, From a 👎 bad to Worse experience on the phone.... when trying to make up for a Very 👎 experience. but anyway....Google reviews are here for... if they do not do anything well, after all...people...
Read moreYou can count on one hand how many times in my entire life I have eaten at a Chick-fil-A, so I am writing this with very limited CFA experience. Also, I must disclose, This particular CFA is in Prince George's County Maryland in between Forestville Mall, and Iverson Mall so any type of customer service, hospitality, or courteousness really does not exist, not from the patrons, not from the staff, not from anywhere near in this part of Maryland. It is truly the mentality of the area for reasons conducive to physical, psychological and imposed oppression over many, many of years, but that'sanother topic. However, I must give a fare and honest review in spite of. So, with that information upfront, here is my opinion... The food itself was barely edible. Not entirely bad, but I am cautioned to ever eat at that location again. I will try a different CFA and report back (more on this later). I ordered Chicken strips, fries, and lemonade for myself. My son was the reason we ate there tonight. He ordered a chicken sandwich, small fries, and a soda. My strips were very salty, almost too salty, but if you take away the salty flavor, I don't think it would have any flavor at all!. The potatoes were also very salty, but not as salty as the chicken. The better tasting of the two. If you are diabetic this truly is not the place for you to ever eat! I have heard raved reviews about their lemonade, so I had to try it. I was very excited, but once I put the straw in the top and took a sip, it reminded me of my baby brother dumping the whole 5lbs. sugar bag in the Koolaid! I immediately poured out the lemonade in fear of needing an insulin injection by the end of the night! The lemonade was wayyyyy beyond over sweetened!! My son ate half of his chicken sandwich (mind you he has never, ever eaten CFA, but his school was sponsored by them and I wanted him to experience CFA with me first before his school introduced it to him this coming Friday) and threw the rest in the trash and complained of stomach pains! Needless to say our CFA voyage together was not good at all! There is however a silver lining in all this... I will try CFA again in the future (not this same location ever again) in spite of my experience at this location because of one thing, and one thing only. The Owner! Any owner of a business that puts family, and God first truely deserves my money! I will not hesitate to shop at Chick-fil-A again, even after this evening, just not the location closest to my home (Silver Hill Road). Also the reasoning behind 2 stars and not 1. When I review places or item I consider the whole domain, not just what concerns my couple of reasons for trying it out. I wish more places considered family and God in there endeavors. Yes, only 2 stars, but I will (not in the near future) try them again! Please don't disappoint on my second review. I will...
Read moreI know I usually say I had a great experience at Chick-fil-A and customer service was great, and so on and so on but that's not the case that visit. I know hours are changing and how businesses conduct business has changed because of the pandemic but this was unexpected and unexcusable! Long story short, 8:57pm is not 9pm (when Curbside closes at this location) but there isn't a sign to tell you Curbside's hours so when I looked up 30 minutes later on a light night and sitting with my hazards on like the app said to do I couldn't figure out why I didn't have any food. I stopped an employee and inquired and she said Curbside was closed so she got a manager and that's when things went really south! The manager (at least i assume she was), kept arguing that Curbside was closed at the time I placed the order but when I told her the order was completed at 8:57pm she became more adamant that Curbside was already closed (what?). She didn't seek to find a resolve, i.e. - ask me to come in for the food, bring the food to me, etc. To add to everything, several employees came out to spectate and some offer their 2 sense claiming that Curbside was closed at 8:57pm (again, what??). Finally a guy came out with the food, explained where the shortcomings were in the app so that the hours should be indicated and explained how that location had changed how you do Curbside (with the manager and other staff chanting Curbside was closed). After a while, it was pointless talking to the gentleman who i was trying to thank because it more so resembled a scene from a Mean Girls movie. Needless to say won't be going back there any more!!! Again this is the quick version of what happened. Recommendation to management- go review Chick-fil-A customer service standards and policy and actually implement in in your own actions and your employees or look for another job and if you can't tell time, look for...
