DO NOT VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! I went to this location today with 5 other of my friends, one of which actually recommended this restaurant. Upon walking in, we were greeted by rude staff, we politely asked for 2 tables of 2 and one table of 4 because 2 of my friends were waiting on people. We are taken to the table and instead of 2 tables of 2, we are sat at a table of 4. One of my friends politely asks the server walking by if we could get one table of two. The server tells us that we have to go ask the hostess, which was fine. Before getting up to ask the hostess, security comes to the table with the server and says "Yall gotta go", mind you, we are not being loud, and everyone was respecting the restaurant. We were seated for literally only 2 minutes before asked to leave due to us being "indecisive". We were escorted out by security. Once we left, we were on the curb trying to figure out what just happen and the hostess, Baltimore (her actual name), comes out for a smoke break, and one of my friends go up to her to ask her exactly what happen, and why we got kicked out. She then explains to us, while cursing and speaking in a very aggressive way that we were being "indecisive" and didn't know where we wanted to sit. I did not ever think that wanting to change tables, or being indecisive was a reason to be kicked out of a restaurant, especially since we were not being rude or disrespectful. Me and 2 of my other friends are across the street walking the conversation, and security comes out of the restaurant to join, the hostess. I come over to speak to her, when I approach and ask for the exact reason why we were kicked out, she blows smoke in my face and tries to belittle me because of my age while explaining in the same disrespectful tone that she was speaking to my friend in. After finishing the conversation with her, I go inside to talk to the manager and she does nothing to rectify the situation and tells me that she can refuse service to any customer for any reason she deems fit. I'm speaking to the manager in a respectful tone and explaining that what she and her staff did was unprofessional and that some members of her staff were disrespectful from the start. She tells me that one of my friends and I are allowed to come back into the restaurant and eat but the rest are not allowed in. The establishment was unprofessional, and disrespectful to customers. Read moreI’ve been to this establishment 4 times mainly because of the location and the traffic it attracts. My first visit was okay I order online always never sit down to eat. The food was good it was worth the money. The second time, they forgot to include the lobster in my bag and were hesitant about resolving the issue. Third time they didn’t include the extra eggs and that wasn’t that big. Today I ordered a Crab Leg boil added lobster a pond of shrimp which seemed light to me added potatoes and corn. Before leaving the young lady said check your bag to make sure everything is there, I said I’ll check as best I can people don’t have masks so examined my bag I did not open to the air where people are walking around with no masks. I get home and there’s sausage in my bag pork no less I don’t eat pork. The crab legs were tiny tiny and had no meat in them at all. I call, the young lady cuts me off and says it’s nothing we can do about it once the bag leaves the store but give you 20% off your next meal and if you checked your bag you would have seen the sausage. I preceded the conversation by saying I would really to talk to the store manager but I’ll call another day. So she gives me her manager named Kesha. Kesha tells me rudely we can’t do anything after the bag leaves the store because of Covid, I said but you all want me to open my bag in an establishment where staff have no masks and patrons all the times I’ve been in there people walk in and around joking and playing with no masks. She said yeah, I said okay. So, I assume the store manager has issued this mandate that once the order leaves nothing can be done. So, open your bag and check to see if we made a mistake risk your food being contaminated and if there is an issue be further inconvenienced and uncomfortable because the atmosphere is less than classy it’s ghetto full on ghetto with bad customer service. Something needs to be done or close the establishment until you get it right. Everyone should have on a mask including employees and it should be enforced as for customer service, if you’re not good at it you shouldn’t be doing it. Read moreYesterday I went to the Silver Hill Rd location for my first and last time. I gave this business a chance although I read the reviews about the customer service but that's my fault for actually giving them the benefit of the doubt. The food wasn't bad but the service was so bad it takes away from the memory of the food. First, we waited a long time just to get drinks. Then when I ordered the food I asked for a 1lb king crab seafood broil, a fried shrimp platter, wings and scallops. The waitress Emily (at least that's what she said) suggested that if my fiance and I were splitting the seafood broil that we should both get our own 1/2 lb bads instead. Once we got the bill, I noticed we were charged for 2 1 lb bags. When I asked the waitress why I was charged for 2 1lb bags instead of 2 1/2 pound bags, she had the audacity to tell me there was no such thing as a 1/2 lb king crab seafood broil. I said "but you're the one who suggested I get it and it's clearly on the menu. Then she said it was because my fiance asked for extra shrimp with his so she couldn't do a 1/2 pound that way. Her excuses kept getting dumber and dumber. I asked her if she couldn't do the 2 1/2 pound bags, as she suggested, why didn't she come back and tell us that or just give us 1 lb as we originally asked for. The waitress looked at me and said "well, I don't know what to tell you". She could've tried to fix the problem, she could've tried to get the bill adjusted since she messed up. She could've done so many things to rectify the situation. Instead she did nothing but stand there looking stupid. I was so mad that I was speechless. I've never been so upset that I couldn't even ask for the manager because I thought I might snap and not get what I wanted. Do not waste your time going to this location. The comments are true. The service is bad and the waitress was ghetto and incompetent. And this is coming from a pro black woman who supports black businesses and started off as a waitress.
