PT's Gold — Restaurant in Summerlin South

I've been meaning to write a review on this place. Let me start off with saying that I love PT's pubs. I've been coming to these bars for over 5 years! Pts is my friends and I go to bar. Anyway, I visited this location for the first time with 2 of my girl friends on June 29th. We were having drinks and pizza and we love using touch tunes at PT's, it's such a nice bonus to be able to play your own music. At some point in the night, the bartender/server who was helping us (don’t know what her position is) came to our table to ask us if we were the ones playing the music on touch tunes. She (who is Caucasian) mentioned that someone at the bar (a couple who was Caucasian) had complained that it was too much Spanish music and asked if we could take a step back and not play our Spanish music as often. First off, we were not the only ones playing this “spanish” music, there was another big group by the pool table who was playing this music as well. Second, it was not even a lot of spanish music, there was a blend of different genres… mostly English. And third, it really offended my friends and I… we were PAYING to play this music… if someone at the bar doesn’t like it they can easily do the same and start paying for their music so they can listen to what they desire. The touch tunes app is available to everyone. I thought it was very racist and poor the way this PT’s employee handled the situation… she could have definitely approached us a total different way. And she could have also explained to the couple at the bar how things work. We ended up leaving right after. I don’t recommend...

The only reason this place deserves one star is because it is supporting other businesses. About 10:30 tonight a dozen of my friends and I showed up to have dinner and some drinks here. I got us a couple of tables and ordered a beer. About 10 minutes later a half a dozen more of our friends showed up totaling 19 or so. 20 minutes later I've still not received said beer, and come to find out it was because the bar tender was busy outside hassling my friends for smoking in the parking lot.

We are not a rowdy group and are a decent size party who loves to show appreciation for service. If the bartender was the only server and didn't want to deal with a big party then he should have just said that when I told him we had 12 people. We honestly did not know the last six were coming, but I don't see why bringing more money to a bar is a bad thing.

Never again will we bother this PT's with our money, and I will recommend all stay away from here.

This used to be our daily hang out , we've introduced a dozen friends to pts and half of them to this one specifically . I dont know where this new girl heather came from but she gives THE shittiest service EVERY time i go in . I thought it was just her having a bad day which still isnt my problem but i gave the benefit of the doubt and 4 other times i tried and it got worse and worse and worse . Please save your money , there are plenty other pts bars that will give wonderfull service and go far above and beyond. Ill be contacting corprate in...
