Me and my girl came here on a credit from the manager (Ricardo) because she got Norovirus from the first time. Please note: our server was dope and was very polite throughout.
Now that's the only good thing of the night.
As far as the food, we started with the chili nachos. 95% of the toppings we're in a heaping pile in the middle of the chips, with the remaining 5% skipping the outer nachos completely and lightly caked on the outside of the bowl. They were covered in this aggressive seasoning salt that made the chips like licking salt rocks. We reordered the chips and ordered our burgers. The burgers were ordered medium well and came out completely charred, with toppings beautifully shoved to one side of each burger.
When the nachos arrived (remade EXACTLY like the first one regardless of our comments), we let them know about the burgers. They offered to remake them. While waiting and forcing ourselves through the salt cavern that was the nachos, we asked the server to add an order of boneless buffalo wings, as it's IMPOSSIBLE to mess that up.
*don't worry, we'll be proven wrong later in the story.
So now the new burgers arrive! My girls is literally soaked with whatever sauce it had, mine had all the pineapples on one side (again), and both didn't have the onions we requested on the first one.
We accept our defeat with the burgers and decide to move on and carry forward.
As we try to eat the burgers, the wings arrive. Finally, some guaranteed good food.
Wrong.
They are smothered in bleu cheese crumbles, and we both hate bleu cheese. We forgot that Red Robin is the ONLY place on the planet that does this, so we had forgotten to ask to remove them. Our bad. So we ask them to make one without that. They then bring us out new wings.
With bleu cheese.
Again.
So we ask, again, for an order without bleu cheese. We finally get them, and they were so dry that they gave me cotton-mouth.
We decided to cut our loss after taking a moment and looking at the buffet of uneaten and inedible food on the table, so we asked for the manager again.
He "willingly" comes back to the table. As I am defeated at this point, I tag my girl in. She explains that the food and remakes and remakes and other remakes were miserable. The manager then tells us he is sorry and doesn't know what to do other than offer more remakes. We politely, yet firmly, decline his reluctantly enticing offer of more...
Read more1/27/2023 ‐ We have been several times inbetween reviews but wasnt asked to uodate. Tonight was date night with the wife and we were craving some Red Robin. Food was good as usual and our server was really sweet but it was beyond crazy busy, so service was slow. We weren't in a huge hurry so that wasn't a really big deal but it definitely needs a mention because It was slow!!!! We will still be back again Im sure.
4/27/2022 - Went tonight to celebrate my son and his girlfriend for their senior awards night, by request of my son. It's just a great atmosphere for hanging out, catching up, and eating great food. Service is always prompt but not overbearing. Still one of our favorite places to go.
2/25/2022 - stopped in because it had been a while. Still the same great service and great food. Definitely a great place to enjoy time with family as well.
With everything going on with the covid shutdown and limitations it is already tough enough to find places you can go out and feel like everything is being done to make sure you are as safe as possible while being out in public. I have to say that I was impressed walking into Red Robin! It has always been a family favorite for us but to see them not only following CDC and state recommended standards but going above and beyond what is required just shows that they are truly going out of their way to make you feel comfortable and have a good experience while you are out during these times. We had reservations as per mandate and as we walked in the two girls greeting patrons were explaining that to some people who had just walked in last minuet and were trying to get them a reservation set as soon as they could. Then once taken to our seat, even though the booth was clean, it was wiped down thoroughly right in front of us. Extra plastic separators have been added to the backs of the booths to further maintain social distance requirements and keep your space safe. Then as usual they were friendly and accommodating as usual, the food was great! Probably better then I remember just because it has been quite a while since we had been there. They were attentive to what we needed and how things were going as usual but not overbearing which I always like. Read moreI am updating my review from a few months ago. I went on my birthday so I was blowing the diet and wanted the all you can eat french fries. Decided to give this place another try because I love their French fries when you can get them. It was super busy lots of people out shopping and had to wait for a table for a few minutes. I have to say it was the best service I have ever had there, the food was fresh and hot and they kept the fries coming which was why I went. My granddaughter got a discounted kids meal and ate every bite. It seems that they have corrected some of the prior problems , at least on the night that I went.I hope they keep it up I do like the restaurant but hate getting aggravated when I go out to eat. Good food deals, when you can get served. I keep trying to go back, but it's the same thing every single time. My food is either wrong or doesn't come out in a timely manner. They need to do something about the service there. I think the restaurant as a whole is good, as well as the food when you can get it hot and fresh or at all. My check is hardly ever correct either. They have the machines where you can pay on the table which would be convenient if they ever worked correctly. I live in Summerlin, and we go to the one near our home. I have been to a few other Red Robins and not have this problem.I keep saying Ill never go back and then figure they have to fix something but they never do. I spoke with management a few months ago after a terrible lunch. I don't like to do that however I thought they should know that they have problems. They have not yet been corrected.
