My family eats at Panda Express' all over the world. This by far has got to be the worst Panda Express that I've ever eaten at or experienced in my entire life. I can't believe that this place is still open and that the franchise owners still allow this place to operate under the name of panda express. This store gives Panda Express a black eye and a bad name for anybody that's ever experienced panda express.
I'm not even sure where to begin but let's start. I've been to this location a couple times before I decided I would never ever step foot back in it again. The main reason is that there's always a long line. Well you think that would sound great because some Panda expresses have a long line but this one has a long line for the wrong reason.
The main reason this one has a long line is that they do not cook all the food and have it waiting for the customers to choose like all other panda expresses. One of the main reasons that I choose Panda Express is because I can get in and out quickly with exactly the food that I want without having to wait for somebody to cook it for me. Well that's not the status quo in this particular place, almost all food has to be cooked to order it will not be cooked in bulk and then served to the customers.
At first I thought this phenomenon was basically because it was close to the end of the night and they didn't want to have a lot of food waste, which I can understand. But now I've been there several times and it's like that every single time I go regardless of whether I go for lunch or for dinner or what time I go, they still don't have their food dishes full and they still require you to al-a-cart order. I On one occasion I spoke with the manager and told him that this was not normal and that I was not happy or satisfied. He gave me nothing but attitude and argued with me that they do it the way everybody else does it and that I was just not a good customer. I'm paraphrasing the conversation but it pissed me off, really bad. This guy, whoever he was has no business ever being a manager in the customer service world. The restaurant itself is beautiful it's one of the nicer ones that I've ever been into so the atmosphere was great. However the people that eat there are seriously underserved by the philosophy of Panda Express and how it serves food. Panda Express has a good business model, you get hot fresh food without having to have your order individually made. This makes it simple for people like me, a father of 2 children, that needs to get in and out quickly but needs to have a variety of what to choose from my children. Due to how horribly this Panda Express has been operated we found another Panda Express several miles away and choose to go there driving more miles to get to a different Panda Express than ever experience the anxiety frustration or anxt that goes along with eating at this particular Panda Express. Whatever the attitude I don't know if it comes from the owners or just management but it is permeated through the every employee in that place. I can't have a conversation with any of them about the fact that I don't want to choose a la carte I want to choose something that is in their bowls and it's freshly made however. There is hardly ever any food in those bowls and the food that is in there is old it looks like it's sat there forever and just gotten overcooked. I have a plea to franchise operations. This franchise is doing a horrible disservice to the Panda Express name and organization. You need to have your franchise compliance people get into the store and make some changes immediately you're losing a lot of business and you're pissing off a lot of customers which is not good. Any customer that has never been to Panda Express and this is their first experience would probably never go back. I hope you can figure out what's happening fix it and make it like all the other Panda expresses that we visit around the world. We love Panda Express and we not going to discontinue go in there because of the bad experience that we've had of this...
Read moreMelissa J is SO incredibly rude every time that we come here. I’ve been driving farther to other Panda’s because my kids love Panda just to avoid Melissa J. She had an attitude to the lady in front of me, kept calling for register and no one came so she finally rang her up. In the past she has charged me for my 3rd entree separately, despite getting a bigger plate. She’s also forgotten one of my entrees in the past. On a past visit, she previously asked for a particular steak entree to be made because it was fully dried out and burnt in areas (very common for this location), and Melissa is like this one’s fine. Another time my husband came in and he asked her for fresh super greens and she told him the same thing, that it was fine. She has been consistently rude, and speaks at an insanely loud volume (like she’s yelling at the customers).
Then I ordered my food and she was incredibly rude again! This time we ordered a bigger plate, I asked for both orange chickens in an outside box, she said she would have to charge me for the extra box, despite only having 3 entrees. That’s not okay, as it’s already a part of my 3 entrees. She’s done this before. Besides the matter at hand, her rudeness was not warranted and completely unacceptable.
I spoke to the manager, even though he was on his lunch break he spoke to me, and was very kind, I greatly appreciated his attention...
Read moreI’ve never left a review in my life, but today’s experience at Panda Express was so frustrating I have no choice.
I walked in expecting a simple meal — nothing fancy, just what I paid for. Instead, I was given one tiny scoop of an entrée like it was a free sample at Costco. I asked the worker if that was seriously supposed to be one full serving and instead of fixing it, they straight up argued with me about it. Argued. With. Me. As if I haven’t eaten here dozens of times and know what a full serving looks like.
I’m not stupid. I know when I’m being shorted. And the fact that they acted like I was the problem — like I was trying to scam them out of some orange chicken — is insulting. I wasn’t even asking for anything extra, just the damn portion I paid for.
The attitude I got back was unprofessional and borderline disrespectful. No apology, no correction, nothing. Just defensive nonsense and a whole lot of side-eye.
If your staff is this stingy and combative over rice and chicken, then you’ve officially lost a customer. I work hard for my money and I’m not about to get gaslit over fast food. Do better.
Then Kiana the staff member insisted on arguing over the phone instead of assisting or finding a solution for a...
