This is a good place to visit if you were craving seafood during your stay at Red Rock. I have seen times where this place can get busy, but I rarely see it too full.
I’ve had this place before for their pan roast, which at the time was somewhat decent. But my current review is more leaning towards the specials as it was pretty surprising to me. We came here on a Tuesday and ate the oysters which were $1 a piece. They were really good and tasted fresh. Also looking at the other specials would be the main reason why I’d be coming here throughout the weekend.
The real surprise was when I asked them about their specials. Which ended up being two lobster rolls for $18. The lobster rolls were really good and really fresh. I’m not sure if the secret menu changes every day but I was pretty surprised by this.
Being that we came here on a weekday, the place was pretty quiet. There were probably only 2-3 staff members there and we were the only customers. Based on just the specials alone, I would highly suggest giving this...
Read moreWe live in the Centennial Hills area and hate driving to the strip for a good meal. Since Red Rock is so conveniently located, we decided to try their oyster bar and it did not disappoint. The oysters were tastefully succulent, larger than usual, and exceptionally delightful. I ordered their bouillabaisse and my wife had home style gumbo. Both were expertly prepared and thoroughly enjoyable. We were particularly impressed with the professional and proficient service we received. The staff was exceedingly courteous and welcoming as well. Kudos to the manager on duty, Jerry, who engaged us in pleasant and entertaining conversation while attending to other patrons in a similar manner. Overall, the Red Rock Oyster Bar is most deserving of this five star review and highly recommended to anyone seeking great seafood and exceptional service. Oh, by the way, when I mentioned it was my wife's birthday, they surprised her with a little birthday cake, complete with a lighted candle on top. ...
Read moreI want start by saying our party of 5 was greeted by the most gracious host. He was pleasant and engaging. He seated us by the Oyster Bar because we each wanted the lobster pan roasts ($32 each) We were greeted by initial water person, who got us started with H20/bread. Later our waiter can by took our order and never really returned. He was more attentive to the small 10 seat bar customers out front. When I wanted wine, I had to leave table and walk up & order from the bar. When I did asked about the heat levels on our lobster bowls, he responded, "is that all?" And turned and walked away and didn't return. We've eaten this bowl at Sunset & Green Valley before and its never been this sad. Flavor was not there. 2 of our party asked for heat -level 4. No heat at all. We were all disappointed. Since the water/bread guy gave us more attention than the waiter, we gave him the entire tip and he was grateful. Lots of other staff just standing around since there weren't alot of...
