My family and I first tried T-Bones Chophouse back on 6 Mar 2021 and although I don't recall exactly what we ordered back then, all I can remember is that we liked it enough to want to try it again. That day finally arrived on 7 Mar 2025 when my casino host was gracious enough to make a reservation for (and comped) us. My wife and I arrived 25 minutes earlier than our reservation because this restaurant typically gets packed, especially during the weekend. The restaurant hosts mentioned that we had to wait closer to our reservation time in order to get seated, so we walked around the casino floor and returned closer to our reservation time. We didn't get seated until 17 minutes after our reservation time, which to some, isn't a big deal; however, IT IS a big deal based on expectation management and planning purposes. So the evening started out with a little annoyance due to the delay.
The booth seating we had was nice and the restaurant décor was magnificent. There was a live performer which was a nice surprise and added to the ambiance. I was a little worried in the beginning because I heard GNR playing in the restaurant earlier on (not from the performer). Don't get me wrong, who doesn't like a little "Sweet Child O' Mine" playing while enjoying your favorite adult beverage, but this isn't the venue for that either. The restaurant was a little on the louder side but not unbearable (I figured the more dollar signs a restaurant has, the quieter it's supposed to be)...but apparently that's a bad presumption on my end.
We ordered an Old Fashioned and a glass of Cab for our drinks; the Lobster Chowder and Crab Cakes for our appetizers; 12 oz Lobster, 16 oz NY Strip (Boneless Cut), and 12 oz NY Strip (Featured Cut) for our main entrées. To note, the website menu states that the 12 oz NY Strip is from "Margaret River, Western Australia," but their menu in the restaurant specifies this steak is from "Snake River Farms, Boise, Idaho," so I'm not sure which is accurate. It was a little misleading and I was actually curious on what a cut of steak from the "land down under" would taste like - but I digress. We also ordered the Mac & Cheese, Broccoli, and Artichoke Romana for our sides.
The food service was unsatisfactory; it took 64 minutes to finally receive our meal. The drinks were outstanding; however, it took a while (28 minutes) to receive my second drink. The appetizers were magnificent and the lobster and 12 oz steak (whether from Australia or Idaho), were the stars of the show. The 16 oz steak was unfortunately prepared between medium rare and rare (I asked for medium). I was hesitant to ask for it to be cooked longer because the steak was extremely charred/burnt as is, but requested it anyway for safety and health reasons. It did return slightly warmer, and although it was still on the medium rare side, I just accepted it because I don't mind it at that temperature once in a while. The sides were nothing to write home to Mom about, but it wasn't awful by any means either. The bread service was disappointing because we didn't receive it until after our appetizers arrived. They also served the bread but forgot the butter which took a while to receive as well.
Overall, this restaurant was just ok, as depicted in my 3-star rating. I would even recommend this restaurant to everyone (even with my negative experience) because it does seem popular. I can't say that I would return in the foreseeable future because both visits never provided that lasting impression. I've been to so many steakhouses in this world and this one takes the cake on inconsistencies and inadequate service. I didn't rate this lower than 3-stars because there were a few positives from that evening (i.e., drink quality, appetizers, and the friendliness/professionalism by Tristan, Travis, and hosts). Finally, our server did remove a couple of items on our final bill because of the unfortunate events, which I appreciated - Kudos to Tristan for trying to...

This restaurant is located in Red Rock Casino... It has been open since the inception of Red Rock Casino. It was the original Hells Kitchen Chef recipient. As it opened in April 2006, it is amazing that the decor looks modern and brand new today!
It has a comfortable feel with the beauty of the long room separating fireplace. On a chilly night it is very welcoming!!! As we have been enjoying this Steakhouse for 17 years, you know the food is exceptional. THE SERVERS: For 17 years we have enjoyed Denise as our server! She is always the consummate professional server. She is welcoming to all diners and takes a great photo for you on your cell with pleasure. Her recommendations are always spot on... She is attentive to any needs and goes the extra mile to make sure an anniversary or birthday is special. She is definitely the most consistent and professional server that we know! She even makes sure to introduce us to other servers who she recommends for the times when she is not working, to ensure that we have a great experience! Sommelier: Over the years we have experienced several... Each one has been excellent and makes very good recommendations that are in our budget and deliver a great taste with the food that we order. Steaks: Consistently the best quality prime beef in Las Vegas! No matter where you go or what you pay... This is the very finest prime quality, incredible flavour, crunchy char with delicious steak, that you can order in Las Vegas. You can find more expensive places on the strip... More hype, fabulous decor, Gordon Ramsey and many other amazing Celebrity Chefs… But I triple dog dare you to find a better tasting steak, with spectacular sauces to choose from like their peppercorn sauce. Salad: The STEAKHOUSE salad has been on the menu forever and if you order it, you likely will never want to miss this. I never order any other salad at T-Bones... It is the best chopped salad I have ever tasted and it is topped with a very generous amount of very small crumbled blue cheese and or bacon bits, which I don't prefer. This yummy Steakhouse salad is sensational with a glass of red and the perfect prelude to your absolutely guaranteed, best steak in Las Vegas. Appetisers: I hope you are not allergic to shellfish, as there are a couple choices which are fresh and incredible... The Seafood Tower... It glows with a blues light emanating from under the crushed ice that keeps the tower and shellfish assortment perfectly chilled. The variety of seafood is wonderful and you can choose the size, based on how many people want to participate. The sauces which come with the Tower are a perfect accompaniment to the fresh seafood. For a smaller appetiser, order the lump crab... Same beautiful fresh red sauce and beyond great remoulade sauce. So good, perfectly chilled, and always on-point fresh. Sides: Creamed Spinach is countonable and not strongly overpowering with garlic... Seasoning is just right to accompany your main dish, mushrooms are very well seasoned and super tasty. Tater tots are fun and unexpected for this caliber restaurant. Baked potatoes are of course large and perfectly cooked, with a selection of fresh toppings. Cocktails: Great assortment, Every brand you could want and always a proper pour... Deserts: Carrot Cake is Large and always yummy. All the deserts are great... The Bottom Line: Go and Enjoy a great Las Vegas Restaurant in Summerlin. Ask for Denise and tell her Debby and Doc sent...
Read moreWow, where to begin? I've been here several times when I visited the hotel and this was a first. T-Bones was known for their excellent food and service. Unfortunately this experience we had, was far from the truth. I will make this as short as possible if I can. Please read through entire review. Made reservations a month in for 9 people celebrating an Anniversay and Birthday and requested to sit at the long tables by the fireplace so we can someone interact with one another being still under the Covid guidelines. They sat us at Two round tables afar from each other. We made this reservation knowing that it was great service and excellent food for our guest whom had never been to TBones. Started off great by ordering drinks and was served bread right away. Then our server came back to take our orders. We shortly got our salads. After waiting over an hour and a half, we finally got the attention of the nice man serving the bread and inquired about our food. He found our server and she apologized and was going to find out what happened. Normally, the servers are right at your side checking on you constantly. Anyway, the manager came out and was unaware of the long wait and apologized. Ten minutes later our food came out. Our server never came again to check with us to ask us how the food was, so we had to wave over the manager again. And again she apologized and said the the main chef was not there. First off we ordered the New York steak Medium Well which was served medium rare ( shouldn't a high end steakhouse know how to cook meat?).Chicken which was fried was pink inside (food safety issue). Two of the burgers were loaded with salt as well as the order of scallops. The food was barely warm, but the plates were hot. This manager said she would not charge us for the steak, chicken and burger and offered dessert. At that point some of our guests were disgusted and left the restaurant. I am in managmenent in the food industry and have never seen such a poorly ran restaurant and management especially for an upscale restaurant. I did speak with the manager privately when our guests left and told her she did not handle this situation professionally and it was unacceptable. If their management was trained better, she could've changed the entire situation around despite of what had happened. They lost a lot of buisness from many of our...
