Iwas transferred here from the Hardee's in walterboro SC the yr of 2007. I was fairly new to SC ,I fouis store in a phone book to see if I could transfer to this store so,that I wouldn't have to find another job. I call them and spoke to Jennifer she was the general manager then. I explained my situation to her,so she asked me who was the general manager at the walterboro Hardee's?, I replied by saying Michelle .She said I know Michelle we go to the same meetings.jennifer asked me what job position do I work there? I said backline breakfast cook.So, Jennifer said she would give me the same position and that I could start work as soon as I move to Summerville SC.I was so relieved that, I wouldn't have to look for another job at the moment.She and a man named Clyde trained me, and showed me where everything was. Hardee's is a very busy fastfood restaurants.From the time They open up at 5:30 Am the lines are mostly wrapped around the store especially at the walterboro Hardee's. I had to work through lunch sometimes there I would be exhausted and I was walking 5 miles to and from work everyday unless it rained or if I was too tired to walk back to my room at the boarding house I had. I mailed my tithes and offerings to the church of latter-day saints biweekly even though they were giving me the runaround concerning if I was a member of their church? I eventually got tired of that ongoing nonsense so I started attending Methodist Church at stallsville UMC. Those Mormon and missionaries still hunts me everywhere I go. It's so annoying. I don't understand their purpose.When I see how some workers that walks to work or ride their bikes then a customer buys them a car. I would think about all those times I've walked to work for over a year,and nobody has ever done that for me. I really can cook, make the sausage and gravy for the biscuits. M Mr Clyde trained me and taught me how He trained me how to cook on the grill and so much more ,and set-up my area and make the sweet tea, unsweetened tea, and fill up the coke beverage, and make the coffee ,and get the front area setup. I pray that the Lord blesses all of my education, cooking, baking skills, nursing experience, and nutrition education, manager experience and so much more .I studied home economics classes in highschool decades ago as well. I completed public schools in Madison GA class of 1981.however during my 12 grade yr I was sent to Brunswick job corps center in Brunswick GA to finish my education and learn a skill trade. I completed the GED program for general educational development 1983 I successfully completed the CNA program for certified nursing assistant and health occupation program as a honor student graduated 1983 I completed leadership training 1982 I completed the state of South Carolina WIA Program for essential skills for the work place at Dorchester County Adults Education Center in Summerville SC the yr of 2010 I've been enrolled in online school programs with Stratford career institute in St Albans Vermont since 2008 in currently enrolled in online school programs for senior care specialist. I also graduated from Athens technical college Monroe campus class of 2006. I completed the patient care attendant program, and the caregivers training for home health care,the New connection survival skills work shop program, and I completed classes for nutrition education program with the university of Georgia cooperative Extension services at Athens technical college in Monroe GA class of 2006. I had a real graduation ceremony and the college staff took me shopping to by me a new nurse uniform. I've completed ce courses for home health care assessment with relias Learning Academy in carry birth Carolina from 2016 to 2017. I pray that the Lord blesses all of my education and work History.All of my accomplishments and achievements Please stop scammers from ruining my life and financial well being I deserve so much better I'm tired of the ongoing attacks,lies and scams God bless America and all of the fastfood employees...
Read moreLong review alert: this review is for the Hardees at 1401 S Main Street in Summerville, SC. Store number 1500817. Quite possibly the worst Hardee’s I’ve EVER been to and I’m not referencing the food. I’ve never seen a more incompetent fast food staff in all of my years. Our food was ok. Nothing to rave about but multiple people came back into the store because their orders were wrong and/or missing something. I do want to give grace to the young man preparing the food because he was back there by myself filling all of the orders.
While there was a huge disappointment in the competency of the staff as a whole, the focus of this review is about the girl that was taking orders. The one with the purple/silver looking wig…she’s possibly THE WORST customer service person I’ve ever dealt with. I looked at my receipt and if the cashier’s name on the receipt is correct, then her name is Le’Aysia.
I’ve been to this location about 4 times since moving to this area in August. Every single time I’ve gone, this lady does not open her mouth to greet guests as they placed their orders. Today was no different. I walked up to place my order and stood there waiting for her to saying something…ANYTHING…she said NOTHING. So I then said hello to her and said I’d like to place an order to go. Still NOTHING. Literally standing looking at me as if she was a mannequin. I went ahead and said what I wanted to order. She didn’t even tell me the total. I stood there again waiting for her to say something and she said nothing. I told her that I’d like to scan my barcode to use my 25% off code for my order. She managed to get the words “go ahead” out after I said that. After I scanned the barcode, I asked her if the discount was applied she managed to get the word “yes” out of her mouth so I went ahead and paid. When I asked for my receipt to confirm, the manager on duty who is a light skinned guy stepped in and said my receipt would be in my bag.
So I stood there and waited. Got my order, checked the receipt and of course there’s no discount applied. So I called the manager over and showed him the receipt then said to him that I asked the young lady if my discount was applied and she said yes. That cashier stood there in front of that manager and flat out lied and said she didn’t tell me that. I was actually surprised that she had any more words, given that she appeared to be silenced the entire time that she took not just my order but anyone else that was after me. I wish I was exaggerating. I’m astounded that this person still has this job. Her disposition is terrible. The amount of people that came in and out of that restaurant that complained about her attitude or their orders being wrong as I was waiting for my order for 17 minutes was something I’d never seen before. One guy said he’s reported this same young lady 3 times yet she still there talking orders. If she had a horrible attitude, she should be in the back of the house, not the front engaging with customers.
The manager did come to try to apply the 25% discount and I am assuming that he was unable to so he refunded my entire bill. I appreciated that but if I didn’t have the money to be at Hardee’s, I wouldn’t have been there. What I would’ve appreciated more was a pleasant greeting and kind disposition as I placed my order at the counter.
As a whole, this entire staff is incompetent, and needs training to be more efficient because as it stands now, I will NEVER go back into that Hardee’s to spend money if that young lady is the one taking orders. I refuse to spend my money somewhere and I cannot get a hello when I step up to the register.
I would love to speak to someone at corporate or the general manager of this location concerning this incident and several others. Please provide me with contact info to reach...
Read moreABSOLUTELY GROSS!!!!! They don't even deserve the 1 star I gave them... Upon walking into the restaurant, I witnessed, a group of guys outside the restaurant on the drive thru side door apparently on a smoke break. When my children and I walked in and stood at the counter, the counter person walked up, the first thing I noticed was his shirt was DIRTY... The group of guys walked in, and went behind the counter, EVERY one of them was the kitchen crew, they all went immediately to the line.... I made a comment to the counter person saying, sooooo they aren't going to wash their hands? He shrugged his shoulders and then looked in the back and said, "hey did you was your hands"? I heard one say "Let me get some gloves" and then they laughed... Then the group of guys all walked to the front of the line and grabbed gloves out the box... I then commented that, they need to wash their hands, and that is not sanitary, not to mention disgusting.... The manager then comes out the office and I complained to her that they just came in from smoking outside and no one washed their hands and that they shouldn't have even attempted to prepare food... She yells back to them "hey, did you wash your hands"? I suppose one of them nodded to her because I heard no response and she turned to me and said "they said they did, and there's a sink in the back behind the wall"... I then told her I witnessed them walk in and go directly to the line, they had no time to wash their hands, and they never even went behind the wall.... She then gave and aggravated huff, and yelled to them "I know you said you did it but just wash them again".... Then I made it known that her attitude was uncalled for and that if me requesting them to do what they are suppose to do by DHEC regulations is bothersome them I will let corporate and DHEC know... I then told her I would not be ordering and I was taking my money and business elsewhere.... I walked out and I will never go there again!!!! I have contacted corporate and have yet to get...
