Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in South Carolina

First time visitor today Was not a good experience; will never return. First of all it took forever for our food for two people to be served. Actually turned and looked at the counter employee and she saw me and went run into the back which told me she realized that we still had not been served our food. ordered a hot sub and traditional mild sauce chicken wings. The sub was not completely cut in half from the bottom side I ended up somewhat tearing it up tried to pull it apart which made most of the filling fall out terrible bacon bits end it was difficult with the plastic fork to even scoop up all the salad making that was on the sub. When she brought the wings out they were not the traditional they were the boneless wings. My daughter told her that she ordered traditional never said anything about boneless so the employee went to the back to order once again for us naturally by that time we were pretty much done without other food. When she brought it back to the table I simply ask her to put it in a To go box as we had already over extended our time there. My daughter said that doesn’t look like mild sauce so I tasted it and no it was fire hot it was unlike the sauce on the boneless that I wasn’t even supposed to get. One bad experience is all it takes there too many other fantastic places to eat. And none of this was about being a picky eater. Unfortunately I have not been in to Donatos til last Friday when I was sent their by Door Dash to pick up and deliver a pizza to a customer! The staff their made me feel welcome instead of telling me it would be a twenty minute wait like some of the other pizza places that I will not mention at this time!! Their names were Rodney, Gabby, and Frank. These guys are top notch in their profession. They should all get a raise. Anyway let’s get to their food shall we. Ok everybody knows there thin crust pizza is awesome but do they know about the jewel of Donatos? The meatball sub! Freaking delicious! The sub bread, their cheese and let’s not forget the giant meatballs they put on the sub!!! Most places give you pieces of meat ball not whole meatballs like they do! Also the way they cut their pizza is so smart! Reminds me how Dominoes use to cut there pizza which was 50 years ago!! I've ordered pizza and salads from Donatos the past few days, and the food is always fresh and great. I'm addicted to the thin crust pizza. I don't know if it's the crust, or the square slices, but I could eat at least half the large pie myself! The salads are super fresh tasting. On top of the good food, it comes lightening speed quick! I swear, every time I have ordered, it's been delivered in about 15 minutes from the order. I ordered from them today and they accidentally gave me the wrong size tea. They almost immediately redelivered it, no questions asked.

Also, I mostly chose this food spot because they have their dining room closed during the pandemic, which I appreciate as I watch most of the south act irresponsibly during this pandemic.
