This was my first time visiting this place that my co-worker RAVED about. So, of course, I had to see what all the hype was about. Well, he rave was warranted. This was such a pleasant dinner.

The outside was clean, but there is little parking, unless you park in the neighboring parking area. We were able to snag the last park8ng space, which made me believe the place may have been PACKED. Contrary to my belief, it wasn't packed. At all. But that's a good thing.

The atmosphere was of a nice quaint setting. We arrived around 7:30pm. The lights were dim, and there was a certain coziness about the room. It made perfect for a quiet date night. We initially were thrown off by the larger tables since it was only 2 of us. So, we attempted to be seated on the other side of the building. The other side, the bar area, was a completely different atmosphere. It was that of, well, a bar., too, oo was clean. The lights were not as dim, and there were TVs on the wall as you see in most bar settings. The place appeared to have potential for a fun night out with friends.

We returned to the main dining area and sat down. We were instructed to seat ourselves. The tables are covered in white linen tablecloths. The chairs are wooden; dark brown, to be exact. The tables along the wall, while accompanied by chairs, face a couch style seating space. They are separated by extremely comfortable pillows to create two seating areas instead of one. And, yes, I forgot to take pics of the seating. Actually, I forgot to take pics of the bar area as well. To ad insult to injury, there's what looks like an amazing covered patio area that was lit with beautiful string lights, equipped with its own bar outside. While I pined over it, I forgot to take pics of it as well. Le'sigh....

Anywho, THE FOOD! The food is DELICIOUS!!!! I ordered the bed salmon roll and a shrimp taco. My date ordered a hibachi with filet mignon, shrimp, and chicken. The hibachi came with their Thai fried rice and veggies. My sushi was magnificent. The hibachi, because of course I can't just watch him eat it and not try it for myself, was very tasty. My favorite about the dish... the steak was cooked as ordered, medium rare. He even had enough hibachi to take home for a second meal.

Everything was plated well and the. Customer service was really good. The wait staff allowed us time to decide on what we wanted and answered any questions posed.

The pricing was fair for what we ordered. Neither of felt that we were conned after receiving the final bill. That's a definite plus. For the two of us, it totaled right around $55.00.

Overall, it was a great dining experience. I'll definitely be back. Next time, I'll take a few more friends with me to enjoy the bar area and maybe the...

BLUF: Horrendous customer service, dirty dining room and OK food. Better options with better cleaner facilities and good food available.

We ordered a ton of food to go, $180 worth. After arriving to pick up our order, it wasn’t ready at the time provided over the phone, completely ok sometimes this happens. While waiting we noticed maybe 4 tables total were full in the restaurant.

The server came up and started trying to label what everything was but couldn’t remember what each roll looked like, also ok.

After arriving home, and opening the packages we realized we were missing 3 rolled, and two salads. Called the restaurant back and Christina proceeded to tell me it was my fault that I left without all the food although she handed me the bags and trays I Had she said I was rushing and didn’t give her time to go get the rest of the food. What? You could have said excuse me sir that’s not your complete order. Nope.

Additionally, all of the hot items, crab wontons, fried spring rolls, rice were cold. ( we live less than 5 minutes away from the restaurant, so it wasn’t the commute).

I asked for a refund on the salads, and rolls that were missing. Christina told me I had to come to the restaurant and they would make me new salads and rolls to bring home but they wouldn’t refund my card? Are you kidding Me? After I already came to pick up my food which wasn’t packaged together and the food was a mess?

I will...

When I moved to the Charleston area I passed by this place and promised myself I would someday try it. 2 years later, I wasn’t sure what the name of this place was and where I passed it, so I looked and looked until I finally found it again. I am so happy I did! I had the best Thai food here! From the chicken Pad Thai the Sushi burger and the drunken noodles were all amazing! I had some sushi too and it was great!

The sushi burger is a one of a kind experience. It was amazing. Basically it’s a fried rice bun with sushi in the middle and you can add what kind of sushi and what kind of veggies you want to it and then it’s lettuce tomato and cucumber as well. All topped with a spicy Mayo and a tangy sweet sauce mixture which was delicious mixed with the burger. You can up to 3 fish or sushi and 2 veggies, so I got eel, tuna and salmon and avocado and seaweed salad. It was top of the line and I’m so sad I didn’t take a picture!

Also the chicken pad Thai was the best I’ve had so far in the Charleston metro area! And I’ve been to Thailand.

The chef and owners are soo nice and very hosting. I’ve gone twice in 1 week so far and plan to go on my day offs for their lunch...

There weren't many vehicles in the parking lot at prime dinner time, which is usually not a good sign, but I really like Thai food so I thought I'd give it a try. The atmosphere is probably best described as interesting. I sat in the bar area which is completely separate from the dining area. Neither area seems very inviting. Nonetheless, I wanted to try the Thai. An interesting local was at the bar making things awkward for the bartender. Once he left it was just me. I ordered a favorite basil noodle dish that's called Drunken Noodles on the peculiar menu, and some spicy tuna sushi. The food was very good. They use fresh peppers rather than dried and crushed ones to spice the food and the sushi. That was quite appealing to me since I hate anything mayonnaise based and that is how most sushi is "spiced" - with a spicy mayo sauce. The portion was more than enough which justifies the prices. Two people could share the entree in all reality, but I managed to eat the whole thing. The service was friendly too. I just couldn't get past the setting to make this a higher rating, and I'm not sure I'll be back. Maybe a takeout if there's a next time.

First to start AMAZING customer service. We were greeted by a smiling and cheerful face. She asked us to wait a couple minutes so she could get a table cleaned off. We did with no issue it was roughly 5 to 10 minutes. Second, the food! AMAZING I mean just *chefs kiss*. Honestly best sushi I have had in a while. The Baked Salmon Roll and the Sushi Chef Roll are absolutely amazing. So good! Everything tasted super fresh and clean. I also had a Pad Thai dish and the amount of food on that plate could've fed 2 or 3 people. Servings are huge and taste delicious. Last night was our first night and we will definitely be returning and I will definitely come here with friends. If you're thinking about trying this place DO IT!! I'm excited to go back and try the Sushi Tacos!
