Hibachi Grill — Restaurant in Sumter

As a business owner that visits this area twice a week from Charlotte; 3hrs away, I decided to stop by Hibachi Grill. I placed an order for myself and 3 others to go which totalled 80$ and change. The food didn't take long but the service received by the young lady who brought the order to the vehicle was unacceptable by all standards of customer service. Not only did she become very argumentive with my driver over mushrooms that were absent from meal she was rude and argumentive with me also after asking to receive the free complimentary sauce that was also missing. Decided to give the Thanksgiving sushi roll a try and wasn’t at all disappointed. The roll was light, layered in many amazing and fresh flavors. It’s encompassed in a soy wrap. The wrap is an alternative to seaweed but has a great, soft texture that amazes the palate. This was a very adventurous dinner! I also ordered the crazy roll, similar to the caterpillar or rainbow roll. I don’t crunchy onions with mine, so I opted out, as pictured. I’ve been coming to this spot for 10 years and highly recommend. The owners are from Indonesia which is a bonus, because they have a fused, yet elevated take on sushi, which is actually Chinese origin anyway. I have visited several times eating in and ordering out. When the young lady is working the window, the orders taken and meals received seem more accurate. This is my observation of others customer interactions and reactions. It wasn’t until last Eve, a young man took my order. I had to repeat my order 4 times and when I received it, I barely had any vegetable portion. I simply ordered shrimp hibachi no carrots. I could count the broccoli on the rice.
