Starbucks — Restaurant in Sumter

I was their to meet South Carolina for Bernie Sanders for Presadent and to make phone calls to resadents of Our State to ask if they understand Bernie Sanders policies. To educate The resadents of Our State in the true impact of his policies and to talk about the true economy That the current Presadent says is wonderful the best in history. The Truth is looking back on the past 3 Presadents and the economy it has been rising at the same rate since our last ressison. The National Debit when this Current Presadent took office was 800 billion now it's over 1 Trillion. The jobs created are very Low paying jobs and adverage Americans must work 2 jobs to scrape by. By 2027 people that make over 1 million dollars will have a 60% tax cut and the adverage American will have to carry the burden of the tax cuts for those indaviguals. Our National Debt will be in the Trillions of dollars. Large Coorporations like Wal-Mart and Amazon pay 0 in taxes and recived Government Subsidies each year in top of not paying taxes. While workers in those corporations must apply for Supplamental Food Stamps , TANF, Medicare and Section 8 Housing. Durring the orientation on their first day of work the new employees each recive a packet with all of these applacations for these Government servaces. That is unacceptable if Americans could earn a living wage and have Medacare for all then no one would have to struggle to support their families. Yes it sounds like we would be worse off However if workers did not have the need for Government Supplamental income, housing , SNAP or medical if these corporations paid a living wage and allowed Unions. If Corperations no longer recived Government Subsidies and paid their share of taxes. Then Bernie Sanders plans and policies would work for Adverage Americans. The media and large corporations distributes false information regarding Senitor Sanders. In order to continue to pay very low wages, continue to pay 0 taxes ,continue stop union's from forming, continue not to provide acquit medical if any at all and continue to recive very many millions and millions of dollars in Government Subsidies each year. Everyone in Our Nation deserves to be informed of every Canadates Policies and the true impact for Average American. So We The People can make an informed decision on who they would vote for in 2020. It is very kind of Starbucks to allow any group to come in and feel free and comfortable to use their bussiness to have meetings to organize these activities. This Starbucks has a very frendly atmosphere, it is very clean has very great servace. The items they offer on the menu are very good and you have a great selection of items to choose from. Went through the drive thru today ordered a Caramel Ribbon Crunch. When the gentlemen gave me the drink I knew it was not going to be right just by the look of the drink. Took a sip of the drink and it was not correct it tasted nothing like the one I normally get in Georgia. This caramel ribbon crunch was covered in light syrup and the one I usually get is covered in dark brown syrup. Went back through the drive thru and informed the gentlemen standing at the window he said no problem we can remake that for you. The young lady came back to the window with my order I could tell she had an attitude gave me my order and said nothing. Pulled out the drive thru and tasted the drink again, still did not taste like a caramel ribbon crunch it tasted like a regular Caramel Frap. I did not go back I called and the young lady who made the drink answered the phone. I told her that the drink was still not correct she said what was wrong with the drink what is missing from the drink I made the drink twice and I followed the directions. I go to inform her what was wrong with the drink and she tells me to let her finish her sentence. I responded back you asked me what was wrong with it. But, first who are you talking to not once did I raise my voice at you or disrespect you so you will not do that to me, I need your name. She handed the phone to someone else. I did not get her name but she was nice and I proceeded to talk to her and she tried to rectify the situation. I informed her of the conversation I had with the young lady who would not give me her name she did inform me that the young ladies name is Lexi (caucasian young lady with strawberry blonde hair). She apologized for the exchange and explained that the young lady had a relative that was ill. I explained to her I understand I am going through the same thing but that does not give her the right to be rude. If she could not separate her personal from her professional then she needed to clock out and go home because I did not deserve to be talk to that way. I understand having to work even when you have sick relatives find her a job in the back filling up salt and pepper shakers and folding napkins not on the floor dealing with customers. I spent $7 for a drink that I did not even get to drink. I could have taken my $7 and scoot on down to Scooters where they're always polite. Use this moment as a teaching moment for Lexi so she will know that yes we all go through difficult times but no one deserves to be...

I travel for work. I visit numerous Starbucks all over the state of South Carolina. I just received the worst customer service and major bad attitude at a Starbucks that I’ve ever had. I ordered a Hot vanilla latte and what I got was cold. Then when I asked if there was a way to heat the coffee up I was instructed that if I didn’t want it to be cold I should not have asked for foam on top of it. I ordered a vanilla latte and apparently that can’t be made hot at this store. I also had to wait for 15 minutes for a breakfast wrap that was not a wrap. It was hard as a rock on the outside and on the inside was cold. The best way I can describe it is as a hard and tasteless hot pocket. it should not be called a wrap. I know the name of the sandwich is not the stores fault, it is named by corporate, The so-called wrap had no taste. After asking if the coffee could be made hotter and getting the attitude that I did, I pitched both the sandwich and the drink and left the store. I wish I could say this was the first time I received poor customer service in the store but sadly it is not. However it will be the Last time as I will not stop at the Sumter...
