Rocky Rococo Pizza and Pasta — Restaurant in Sun Prairie

Sure was nice to have an amazing Rocky Rococo pizza lunch yesterday. Had a very nice experience, so good I wanted to share my thoughts. There are so many great options for food in this area I will be honest with you when I say that I was a little disappointed when my daughter said she wanted pizza to eat. However we walked into a very clean restaurant. We were greated immediately with a genuine smiles and hellos. Ordered our food while having nice conversation with the staff and went to sit down to a fresh slice of pie I grew up enjoying as my favorite place as a kid. Then from my childhood to my adult years I lost the passion for this chain because the pizza I felt like was lacking a little bit and always the staff or the dirty locations are unappealing to me. Not sure but never has been as good to me until now. Not the case here in Sun Prarie! This place was what I remember. Everything from start to finish was excellent. They clearly take pride in their store, their loyal customers and the people of this community. Staff was beyond amazing, this location was extremely clean, pizza was hot, pizza was delicious, breadsticks were fresh, generous toppings, all staff were laughing, smiling and being kind to customers, attentative, and on and on. It was a great visit with my daughter who absolutely loves pizza. Who knows she may grow up to love Rocky's the way I did as a kid and now again as a grown adult almost 40 years of age. We will be back again soon. Wish other locations like the one near Lodi and DeForest would catch on to the success and Cleanliness of this place. Keep up...

We were very excited to visit here as we had heard so much about it. When we arrived it seemed like we were "in the way" to the staff. Once we were seated the waiter came out and visited, making us feel at home.

We ordered pizza - since we had heard it was good, and after waiting a very long time, we received the food. The crust was good, not great, but good. The toppings in general were fine. The cheese was terrible. It took us all a bit of time to determine what the weird taste was with the pizza since we ordered three different types, but finally concluded it was the cheese. It tasted like it had been freezer burned. Not sure what would give it that taste except freezer burn, but it was not good. Very dry and flaky - no what you want for a cheese description.

After our visit, we talked with others who said they felt the same about the pizza, but the other menu items were very good. We did not try any other items and cannot comment on them.

We tried to call ahead to place our order TWICE. No one answered the phone. When we got there they were very very busy. So we was like okay thats why they didnt answer the phone, we get it that's fine, whatever. Placed our order they said it'll be 30mins. We asked if it was okay to leave and come back. He said that'll be just fine. My husband drop me and our daughter off at home. We live maybe 15 mins away. He drop us off at home and went back. He was gone for an hour. Ive already gave our daughter a bath combed out her long curl hair. We put pjs on and she was ready to go to sleep. My husband finally came in the door food was very hot but soo soo sloppy both pizzas pepperoni and sausage sloppy mes. Most slices only had chesse on it. Then there were clumps of sausage in the bottom corner. We called them to let them know. But once again no answer. My daughter and husband were hungry i tried to fix it up a bit. I dont think we will be ordering from them anytime soon especially...
