My boyfriend aunt (19) and uncle(18) and I went to Gloria’s for a nice night out but it was very much not nice. We sat outside and moved inside a few minutes after sitting down because we were getting bit up by mosquitos. Before moving my uncle got his soda and we were still waiting on 2 alcoholic drinks and one virgin margarita. Got inside and after a few minutes were brought one drink, and we thought it was my aunts since she got a small, and I had gotten a large, but my uncle took a sip of it before giving it to her and said there was alcohol in it, my boyfriend and I took it and tried it and sure enough there was alcohol in it, so they served alcohol to a person under 21. But then we got our food, and my boyfriend and I had still not gotten our drinks. We were almost done with our food when we finally got our drinks after waiting 20ish minutes. Our waitress did not check in on us once to see how the food was. And we asked for sour cream and we were brought 1 thing when 2 people asked for it and then when we asked for another they brought 2 more, then some other girl brought 2 more after we did not need the 3 extra sour cream and we were charged for it! When we brought it up to our server about how we had waited for 20 minutes for 2 drinks, she apologized and we had said nothing against you but can we speak to a manager, she was very apologetic and offered us something for free(we did not get anything at all) . But then got us the manager we told her about our experience she said she was sorry and that they are very busy, but they had 3 tables including ours, and the waitress’ were just standing around talking for the entire time we were eating, then said it was because we switched tables that the drinks did not come out for so long because there was a confusion, Did not offer us anything for the inconvenience, and in my opinion was VERY rude to us about this. When looking at our bill we saw we were charged 5 dollars sour cream, and we were charged for rice and beans but we’re not told it was an upcharge if it was I would not have gotten any. My aunt, uncle, and boyfriend have been to Gloria’s before, I have not but they said that all the times they have gone before was a lot better. That is the only reason I will maybe be willing to go back to Gloria’s. But after all of this they did not give a discount or anything for free and did not have the best attitude towards us at all. But 8/10 on our waitress on how nice she was when she was apologizing to us she was the only one who seemed to...
Read moreI took my mom who came to visit for a couple days to Gloria’s, before arriving I told her she was going to really like it as we use to; however it was not the case this time, I was there with my very very patient 1 year old, we sat in the outdoor seating area which wasn’t very crowded. We weren’t really greeted by anyone instead we got chips and salsa and we were asked if we were ready to order our drinks, I answered and I asked for a non alcoholic drink, the person who was taking our order seemed to not like the fact that I ordered my drink with no alcohol, which I didn’t really think it was a problem and it has never been at all other restaurants we’ve been to. We saw them checking multiple times on the other two tables that were occupied in the outdoor seating area, there was a couple that saw everything and asked me why if we even have a baby why would they not ask us, to which I responded that i wasn’t really sure, the couple seemed to note that the people in the restaurant weren’t happy probably to the fact that we had an infant with us or probably I asked for a non-alcoholic drink which seemed very odd. We were done with the food and I was waiting for the waiter to come outside but since the other two tables were gone they stopped attending outside, I had to go inside ask for a togo box and the receipt so I could pay. I was brought a receipt with a gratuity included, that just looked very very wrong again our table was 2 adults and 1 infant; we’ve been to many restaurants in the past and have never been charged a gratuity for a small party, I asked the waitress about and she said oh yes we do that. after our really bad experience I felt bad for giving my mom an uncomfortable situation while she’s visiting us and apologize to her about it because in the area we’ve never experienced such a bad service like that specially when it isn’t their peak time. I was under the impression Gloria’s was a family friendly restaurant, but unfortunately if you have kids or are planning to take family don’t you’ll be embarrassed for something that unfortunately you have...

Stepping into Gloria's feels like a mini-vacation to a vibrant Mexican cantina. The restaurant is a riot of color, with lively murals and festive touches like mariachi hats, creating a cheerful and inviting atmosphere. It's a cozy spot. The overall vibe is casual and relaxed, perfect for a family dinner or a low-key evening with friends.
The heart of Gloria's lies in its commitment to authentic Mexican cuisine. Many reviewers praise the food for its genuine flavors, even comparing it favorably to Mexican food they've enjoyed in other regions.
A popular standout are the tamales, which come highly recommended in a few varieties. Other frequently lauded dishes include the flavorful carnitas and steak tacos and the cheesy enchiladas.
Don't miss out on the rich and complex Mole sauce, which is often highlighted as excellent.
The menu is quite varied, offering a good selection of both classic Mexican dishes and options like fajitas, including a vegetarian version.
For those seeking vegetarian choices, you'll find dedicated options, and the kitchen is reportedly accommodating with dietary restrictions like gluten-free and vegan requests.
I ordered the fish tacos, which were exquisite. This paired with the rice and beans made the dish go above and beyond. I also ordered the fresh guacamole on the side. They made it perfectly and also included tomatoes and onions. Beautiful.
I also ordered the steak fajitas. The peppers and onions were sauted to perfection. Amazing and flavorful. I plan to return multiple times to experience each and every dish.
I'm hooked.
Gloria's made me a true fan of their food upon the very first time. Cool, clean, chill atmosphere. Plus, our waitress was cool and chill. Anyone in the area, or not in the area, has to come to this zesty restaurant at least once. If you don't try this place at least once, you'll forever contemplate your existence. Wow, I love...
