Only could give them a 1 star but they truly deserve ZERO. I was met with a very disgusting attitude from the hostess after waiting way above the time they told them (3/8/25 around 6:50 pm). My friends and I were excited to go on a double date here and I even advocated that the wait was worth it. I wish I would’ve never came back to check on the time because the hostess was extremely rude and ruined our appetite.
We were put on a waitlist, like everyone else, which allowed us to see our place in line (online). We were given a 20-30 min wait. We decided to step out of the restaurant and wait in our car, PATIENTLY because there was a big group in the waiting area. When we hit the 20 min mark and saw that our placement was jumping from #9 to then #12 in line, we decided to call the restaurant to check on our seating. Of course, the hostess decided to put us on a not so brief hold (she never got back to us). We finally decided to enter the restaurant and check on our spot in line or if they had any updates. I briefly explained to the hostess that their online wait list kept pushing our spot further and further to the bottom of the list. Her only reaction? To get defensive. She claimed she didn’t know the website I was showing her and that they called my name out in the waiting area. I simply asked her, “what is the point of adding people to the online waitlist when they don’t call or send messages to let you know when your table is ready? Yet expect us to be inside the restaurant”. As a customer, I was just being courteous to others that needed space to put their name on the waitlist and not hog up the space. Anyway, the hostess then said “we can either stand here and argue or you can get seated”. Again, the lack of accountability, miscommunication on waiting procedures and the nastiest attitude met by the hostess is pretty embarrassing for a business. Would not come back to this place or any of their other businesses. My friends and I debated on whether to stay, but they clearly made it super uncomfortable and uninviting — that we left. I told the hostess we won’t need the table anymore, and all she let out was a passive “OKAY” and never looked up.
On a lighter note, we went to another restaurant with fast seating and DELICIOUS food!! The owner was so kind to us and attentive towards our needs. Every bite I took was fantastic!!! I ordered half basket or ribs with Mac and cheese, plus corn bread. As an appetizer, I ordered the BIG ASS PRETZEL. Don’t waste your time waiting in line and go to a place that truly cares about your experience, Primal Cue Barbecue is where it is at !!! My next review will be for them for 5 stars that...
Read moreGreat Pizza joint. Went here on Mother's Day, which might have been a mistake bc I do know that there are shortages of staff everywhere in the food industry, so I try to be understanding of that, working in the food industry myself. The waitstaff was phenomenal and super polite. Any questions, we did have, the server was able to answer our questions. It did take a while for drinks to be served, but as I said that's understandable, except that my soda ended up flat, when I received it, but then had to end up waiting another 15-20 minutes b4 I could let them know. They were busy, so there's no reason to make a huge fuss over it. Our waitress switched my flat soda with a Raspberry Iced Tea.
Regarding the food, we got bbq wings with Ranch, and 2 pizzas, Amazon Deluxe, and Concord Chicken Bacon Pizza. The wings were probably the worst item out of our food. The chicken and the bbq sauce that coated it didn't really pack any type of foodgasmic punch that I was expecting. Although plentiful, you can probably skip the wings and order a different app.
The Ranch sauce, .....that ranch sauce is the real deal Foodgasmic amazing!!! Whatever home recipe they decided to use, that's a million dollar recipe. I can't even describe the complex but simplistic flavors that are all in this. The dill plays a factor with it, but it has a richer almost sour cream thickness to the sauce. It's not runny like your standard Ranch dressing. The wings and pizza went well with that amazing-to-die-for sauce. I would just go to this restaurant to buy the ranch sauce. It's that good. That's coming from someone that normally cannot stand ranch dressing.
The pizzas were alright. I really liked the Amazon Deluxe. This may not sound like a compliment, but it gave me a childhood nostalgic feel with the taste and smell of a better prepared ChuckECheese Pizza, but the crust and dough wasn't greasy on the bottom. Plus my grandparents and mom like it too. The Concord Chicken Bacon was ok, maybe the bacon was too overpowering in taste that I didn't really get the essence of that pizza. The majority of us did not like this particular pizza, but it's definitely geared toward American tastes, which is where the money is at TBH.
Overall a great experience, we'd come here again, it's just a little on the pricier side, but still worth it. However, when I have to think about 3 wks worth of groceries for 2 ppl or a one-time dinner with some family, I'd rather spend my money on my home cooking. Still gonna be coming here again. This restaurant sparks...
Read moreGreat Pizza! Let me start by saying, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the beer cheese sauce. I dip all my pizza and breadsticks in it. The Mac and Cheese Pizza is also good, not at good as PJ's but still good.
This is a newer restaurant so I'm assuming they are still working a few things out. I've placed three orders for carry out, and each time there is a new quirk. Last time they were late by 15 mins. This time the pickles were turned on their side in the bag and leaked pickles juice all over my pizza box. This time, the online ordering system had an error where it wouldn't let me schedule a specific time so the order was going to be ready "asap". I called and talk to a person who said he would not be able to decide if I could move my pick up time to a different time that would be up to a manager. So turned on my inner "Karen" and asked to speak with a manager. The same person came back on the phone a few minutes later and confirmed my pizza would be ready "asap", which I said I need it at this time but your website wouldn't allow me to change it (which we had already discussed). Eventually, with the help of someone else, he was able to change my pick up time to the new time. When I asked for his name he said he couldn't give me his name. (Conjuring Karen...again) I said, I really need to confirm that my pizza will be ready at the new time, if you can't give me your name, I need to speak with someone who can. He left to get someone else again, but the same person came back on the phone and was able to give me his name this time.
Customer Service is a skill you can teach your kids at home, they shouldn't have to wait until they get a job to learn this. The customer is the life-blood of any business and everyone from the dishwasher to the CEO should represent the company well. I'm honestly glad, in this case, that the manager forced this young man to deal with the customer, even though he didn't have the best customer awareness skills, in the end, I got what I needed. So, management, great job working with your team to get them to work through the bumps in the road.
On another note, I've dined in one time with a large group and had great service from a fun waitress. The food arrived hot and was very good. My entire group was happy with their food. Keep up...
