Mi Sombrero — Restaurant in Sunbury

Stopped in for lunch after Christmas shopping. They did not have what I normally get when I eat Mexican food on the menu, no big deal - I ordered what my husband did and asked for no chorizo and add lettuce. I knew I was going to have to pay the same for both meals, but I was unpleasantly surprised when mine ended up being more expensive. We asked our server who could not give us an answer and then another server came over and tried to help us and said that they just work there and have no authority to change anything. I did ask to speak to the manager who was conveniently unavailable, but we were finally able to get the check corrected. I didn't get any extra chicken to make up for the lack of chorizo (wasn't expecting to) and got charged for a handful of lettuce which was ridiculous. The food was mediocre at best, I believe the salsa came from a jar and the chips were most likely store-bought as well, and what is the deal with a convenience fee added...

Poor service, ordered a vegetarian meal, came with chicken, twice. We ordered a large Cheese Dip, but if we wanted extra chips other than the one free basket that everyone gets it would be $1.25 per basket, plus 1.25 per dish of salsa. We paid 10.50 for a large bowl and had to bring 3/4 of the bowl home because we weren't going to pay for chips. Common sense should be the chips are included in the price of the cheese dip. No refills on the waters, we asked, just never got it. This was the second time we've tried this restaurant, extremely disappointed both times, wrong food was served, and D- on service. Too bad because it has a great location. No attention to detail, or follow up. 4-5 servers and most were eating...

Unlike some others we had a great buffet experience today. Food was fresh, appetizing and delicious. The chips and salsa very nice. My son had chicken nuggets and fries - and he indicated were awesome, and the hubs and I had the buffet. We arrived at 1:30ish and they were busy but had space.

The burritos and meat were all very nice and all the vegetables crisp and fresh. Their cheese sauce was great. All in all the buffet was great. I don't get rice often so I am not sure about that, but it was just as fresh as we have had at resorts in Mexico.

The staff was welcoming and friendly and our waiter took the time to explain their specials and spoke about their unique art with us.

We will definitely be back for...
