An unorganized mess of an experience. Ordered a birthday cake at least two days in advance, maybe three. Received confirmation email. I even showed up a little past the requested pick up time. When I told them my name and that I was there to pick up a cake, I received a puzzled look. Then I sat there for 20 minutes and waited. And then got another puzzled look and a question if I was at the correct store. I was able to confirm that I was not only in the correct location, but also my order confirmation that I received via email. Another 10 minutes or so pass and a nice young woman comes out with a completely different cake than what I had ordered with no writing on it and said that this cake was all she had and that my cake was never made. She explained that she had been on vacation and didn't know what had truly happened with my order. She did give me a markdown on the price for the wait and for not receiving the correct cake, which I appreciated. From my observation, it appeared that there was no "captain of the boat" at this location. This is my second time having an issue with a cake order from this store. Read moreWe come here often although I am not sure why we keep trying. The ice cream is soup. We have to bring blizzards home to freeze them before we can eat them and we have had to throw away more cones than I count due to them not even being hard enough to keep their shape. I understand soft serve but this is a whole different level Of soft.. Fries and chicken are always cold. Our last trip we had to wait 25 minutes because the truck and Trailer in front of us wasn’t asked to pull forward because he had a trailer so our ice cream was extra melted this time and food was cold. If you’re going to make customers sit this long than at least don’t get their food until they are at the window. Don’t leave it sit in a bag for 25 minutes at the window.. It’s just always bad. We have tried to give you the benefit of the doubt hoping this was a temporary staffing issue but it just continued for months :( we would love to support this location but can’t Keep wasting money to...
Read moreI walk in and nobody is at the front. There was a dude standing awkwardly at the front, mumbling to himself. Turns out he was an employee and was trying to order something with nobody there and he then decided to sit down for the duration of his break. Then a girl sees me in the back, and literally ROLLS her EYES. She comes out, won't look me in the eye and asks what I want....I order 2 LARGE Blizzards to GO and she gives me 2 SMALL ones....with no carryout container and no lid...proceeds put the kids on and get ice cream everywhere. I tell her I'll do it and put the lids on myself and carry them out...with very sticky fingers. No greeting no salutation....and got the order wrong. The employees at this location act like you are bothering them. Some of the worst attitudes and least competent people i have EVER seen. I will NEVER be back. I'll go to The locally owned Delaware ice cream business, they actually care. If I could give this mess of a store ZERO...
