SUMMARY Family Fresh is walking distance from our apartment. We have been at least 6 times in 2 years. Let me say, I really want to support this local small business BUT it is becoming difficult. My rating has gone from an overall high 5 to a low 3 Star. It serms they are suffering from the typical, "Restaraunt Blues". They need to take the word FRESH and apply it to service, too. MANAGEMENT MISTAKE is that a 18% TIP is included so there is NO SERVICE OR CARE!
EXPERIENCE Almost 2 hours for 2 Bowls of Soup and 1 Sandwhich with Fries. (PS...Almost good enough for the wait!!!!!!) We sat at an outside table at exactly 6:45pm. The glass table had "Salt, wet in some places, cloudy with finger prints everywhere. The plastic lunch menu was still on the table. At 7pm, we had only received the menu, no water or greeting from the server. We decided to both have Soup and Share a Sandwhich. We moved inside as I saw another couple sit inside after us and was served water immediately plus a parked car was running near our table. Bad tasting, room temp tap water (obvious no filter system) came fast. At 7:11pm the Waitress came to take our order and let's say it was a somber experience, she had ZERO personality. 30 minutes later the French Onion Soup came. Another 20 minutes, I stopped the Waitress and politele asked if they forgot the Sandwhich. Her exact response was; "No I didn't forget" and tilted her head and walked away. 10 minutes later, another Waiter (appeared to be the manager) brought the Sandwhich. Of course, I had to flag down the Waitress for the check and pay. That is when, I remembered the 18% was included...and now it was clear to me why this place is in trouble. I understand why a tip is included because this location is full of international tourists that are not accustomed to tips. So this is a OWNER/MANAGEMENT PROBLEM and will result in poor ratings and...

An Exceptional Culinary Journey with Even Better Service!
My dinner at Fam Fre Fusion Bistro was an absolute delight from start to finish. While the six-course meal was phenomenal, what truly made the evening unforgettable was the exceptional and attentive service.
A huge thank you to Igor and the rest of the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel welcomed and truly wanted in their space. Igor was knowledgeable, offered great insights into the menu, and his attentive yet unobtrusive service elevated the entire experience.
Now, the food! We were blown away by both the quality and the quantity. The meal began with a classic French Onion Soup—deeply flavorful with that perfect, stretchy cheese pull. The Branzino was impeccably cooked; flaky, moist, and served with fresh, crisp asparagus. The Beef Stroganoff was a highlight—incredibly tender beef in a rich, creamy sauce.
The dessert trio was the perfect finale. The Pistachio Gelato with a cherry swirl was refreshing, and the decadent Chocolate Cake was pure indulgence.
Portions are generous across all courses, making it an excellent value for the quality of food and the five-star service. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic fusion dining experience in Sunny Isles. We will definitely be back!

Read moreI agree with one of the customers, that greeting is not one of their strongest points. We were told to sit ourself, which is kind of surprising giving the amount of customers they have. The waitress was nice, but the item on the menu was not served due to missing ingredient, ok we ordered something instead, fruit salad in a glass, sounds really nice, we were charged $11.50 which kind of stip for a wrinklie blueberries in it, right. Smoothie had way too much ginger, waitress apologized, that was it. French toast was ok, nothing special. But one thing was really great, chefs favorite, salmon eggs Benedict, this dish was out of this world a d this is the only reason I'm giving 3 starts.
Once our dishes were brought in, waitress disappeared, she offered water but it never happened, didn't bother to ask if we need anything; we had no napkins, I even put box out to attract someone's attention... but still nothing, so we give up...It took a while to get a check. My complaints were not really answered. We came here to have a good time but got treated pretty close to the way it was... in former soviet...
