This was probably one of the worst experiences that I’ve ever had at a fast food restaurant. While ordering my food in the drive thru I asked the employee who was taking my order what was on one of the sandwiches and he said “there’s pictures on the menu to see what’s on the sandwiches.” (the employee’s name was George) I responded, “I can see the picture, but that still doesn’t mean I know what’s on the sandwich.” When I pulled up to the window I told the employee, George that when he made that comment it came off very rude. Before I could even finish my sentence George cut me off and said “we’ll I ended up telling you what’s on the sandwich plus you can already see it on the menu” and continued to argue with me. I states that I was just trying to give him some constructive feedback on his customer service and there is no need to argue and be rude with me. George ignored me and walked away. When he came back to hand me my food I asked for the manager and he said “we don’t have one.” I asked “do you have a district manager or anyone else that you repetir to?” And he said “no.” Another employee came over and said to me “he already told you we don’t have a manager.” I was in absolute shock that George and now this other employee we’re trying to argue with me and were so rude and disrespectful. After I drove away from the drive thru I noticed that one of my sandwiches were missing so I went back and went inside. Another person helped me inside by the name of Anthony and he was wearing a different colored shirt. I told him that I was missing a sandwich and he said ok I will get it for you. I asked him if he was the manager and he said yes. Explained to him that George and his other employee were very unprofessional and disrespectful to me in the drive thru and that both employees lied to me telling me that they don’t have a manager. Anthony said “hmmm this interesting” but he didn’t seem that concerned at all. I have never had such a bad experience at a fast food restaurant before. The employee were completely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. The employees blatantly lied about not having a manager and the manager did not seem to care when this what brought to his attention. I do not recommend this...
Read moreI hadn’t been to Arby's in AGES, but I've always enjoyed their food because it's different, not the same type of fast-food fare. Since my move, I no longer live close to this restaurant, and, well, outta sight, outta mind.
However, my uncle reminded me of it recently, and since I go to church nearby, I thought, "Why not?" So I took a drive after church and ordered from the drive-thru.
First let me say that, not having been here in a while, something was different about the entrance to the drive-thru, and I overshot it! So I made a you-ee and found the RIGHT entrance. I pulled right up (no line) and requested a minute since I wasn't certain what I wanted. I decided on one of their wraps (I LOVE wraps) and got a meal. I ALSO ordered the always-popular Beef 'n' Cheddar for my dinner the next day. Well, the chicken wrap I had was SO HUGE that I couldn't eat my [small] fries, so I just set them aside for my dinner the next night. I can't remember which wrap I tried, but I think it had bacon. Anyhow, it was good.
On my second (more recent) visit to Arby's (also after church), I decided to try their roast-beef gyro. So, I LOVE Greek gyros (beef or lamb), and I wanted to see how this compared. I wasn't as good as a typical gyro, but it WAS good. The sauce used tasted pretty close to the tsaziki [spelling?] used on Greek gyros, and the sauce is what MAKES a Greek gyro.
So, yeah, I'm satisfied with my two visits to Arby's. The food is good (and filling). The service is quick, efficient, and correct (my food was ready not long after I paid for it, the man at the speaker could be understood, and I haven't had a single issue with anything missing or incorrect in my orders). And, well, I ate in my car both times, so there was plenty of stalls to choose from.
I'll absolutely be going back to sample...
Read moreI must admit, the Arby's commercial for their fish sandwiches got us in there, LOL. Inside: the restaurant was very quiet, (2 people eating, 4 others standing around. We had to ask, who had ordered, who hasn't. They were all waiting). The restaurant was clean, but is obviously very old. The young Indian lady at the counter looked very unhappy and said: "May I take your order"? We ordered 2 (for $5) Crispy Fish sandwiches and 2 (for $5) Cajun Fish sandwiches. (Turns out that all of us, except one person, had ordered the fish sandwiches. The service was a bit slow, but not too bad. My bf, after looking around, asked the girl if there was any tartar sauce. She said No. We both asked; "How can you sell fish sandwiches without tartar sauce"? She then said, Well, we have some that we can put in a little container, but none in packets. We said Yes, please. As we got our order, I asked the unfriendly girl if she was having a bad day. She asked Why? I replied that she wasn't being very pleasant. She managed a slight smile and said that she was sick. (Several shouts back and forth in Farsi, we received our sandwiches). No difference between the Crispy Fish sandwich and the Cajun Fish sandwich, but they were yummy. We'll go back and hope for...
