Bowl of Pho — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

This place is very honest with what they offer. They literally have signs that say what they do NOT offer. Anyways we were seated immediately upon entry.

Good: The portion sizes are great here and I really liked my spicy beef noodles - they weren't pho noodles but the soup and the beef was really good even though it looked like it was going to be a flaming hot dish. It wasn't, and the flavors were really great and the whole dish really unique and authentic pho.

Bad: They forgot our spring rolls even though we ordered them! But it was okay since we were already super full.

The guy who takes the orders doesn't speak too much English so make sure you get your order right since he might not understand you if you have a question.

I'd come again! This place is super reasonable with prices too and the place is pretty casual but quick...

They used to be better! The fillet mignon pho was the best, but they changed the meat recently and it's not as good anymore T-T

Great local hole in the wall mom&pop shop! We'll definitely be back!

Update: I've been here about 4-5 times now and it's amazingly consistent and tasty every time! Also the filet mignon bowl is filled with a super tender meat for an absolutely amazing price!

It's a one man show for the most part where the guy generally both makes the food and acts as the cashier to bring prices down and the savings are definitely passed into the consumer! I honestly don't know why this place isn't more popular considering how great it is, definitely my favorite...

I don't generally crave Pho, but I have to admit the Pho here was pretty good, even if they forgot the sprouts, basil, and jalapenos. Aside from that it wasn't all that great. I love pork chop rice plates, I've never not finished one before today. The rice was so dried out I thought it wasn't cooked, and the chop was somehow over-marinated and kind of too sweet(?). The egg was cooked well and the other sides were really fresh, to be fair. Also the service was just ok, after they took our order they brought the food out, one item at a time, and then kind of forgot about us. I might give a second chance if I'm really craving Pho, because it's pretty close to home, but I'm not itching to come...
