Egg-cellent Surati Egg Delights at Eggmania! 🥚
If you're in Sunnyvale and craving a Surati-style eggstravaganza, Eggmania is the yolk of the town. 🥳 We rolled in for a quick bite and left with our hearts (and bellies) full of joy.
First up, the Paneer Roll – a savory, spiced wrap that’s so packed with paneer, it could turn a paneer skeptic into a devotee. But wait, the real magic kicked in with the Leela Lasun Kachu. This dish is like biting straight into the heart of Surat – the spices, the flavors, the authenticity. 🌶️🧄 One bite and you're practically strolling down a Surati street food lane, with a zing that keeps you coming back for more.
Then there's the Paneer Sandwich – crispy, tangy, and loaded with texture perfection. The balance of flavors in this sandwich is a masterpiece. 🥪💥 A crunchy exterior gives way to soft, flavorful paneer inside, making it a snack to remember.
A special shoutout to Charu, the mastermind behind this egg-tastic experience. Her passion for delivering authentic Surati flavors is evident in every dish, and you can taste the love and spice she brings to the table. Thank you, Charu and Pratik, for making Sunnyvale a little spicier and a lot tastier! 🙌
🐣 Don’t just take my word for it – follow the sizzle and the spice, and your taste buds...
Read moreI got to know from a friends Instagram story and decided to visit. On a Friday evening at 830pm the order wait time in person was about 1hr 15mins with plenty people lined up. When i placed the order, there were 20 orders before me. One thing you need to do before visiting this place is to order through their website or doordash(could'nt find it but people were picking through doordash) and not come directly thinking to order, it'll save you a good one hour of anticipation. There was good music playing in background.
I ordered the below:
3/5 Leela Lasun Kachu - ordered this based on past reviews. This was flavorful medium spicy but was too salty for taste. Served with bread slices but bun would go better here. 3/5 Surti Gotala - This was extremely spicy for even Indian standard that dominated this dish making it hard to appreciate. The sale was bit less on this one. The flavors were overpowered due to the spice. Will not order this next time. Served with bread slices but bun would go better here. 5/5 Egg Peri Peri Sandwich - This was the best sandwich and highlight of the order. Definitely get this.
There's plenty of other items I'm curious to try out. Will give other items a try next time. It's a good addition...
Read moreConcept is unique but not for us. Price is on the higher side for what is delivered. We enjoyed the veg masala sandwich. We also tried the green garlic egg kheema and paneer Gotala. The flavors of the food felt maharashtrian inspired. The curries are served with toasted white bread. And the sandwich came with a bag of chips, so it became a lot of food for us. The roti felt like pre processed roti instead of home cooked as they claimed. One would expect fresh food, not just overpriced ready to eat rotis that we could have made at home. I personally don’t eat pre-made rotis at home either which made this an unenjoyable experience. Chaas was very spicy. Also felt that shikanji would be better if diluted with ice and water a bit. Chai was good. Overall, the spices were on the higher side, not just in terms of heat, but overall heaviness of the food. They have a collection of games, some of them with Indian touch, which was really nice. It’s a good hang out spot if you’re looking to play some games while having tea and sandwiches but personally, I wouldn’t come here for dinner. If you’re into eggs and enjoy a spicier palette, you may...
