Hint of Desi — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

We visited this place on Saturday. Ordering the food was easy,we had to order at the kiosk. We ordered Peri Peri Fries,Aloo Patty Burger and Paneer Kathi Rolls. The food arrived in 10min.

Peri Peri Fries was crinkle cut fries which was not fried properly. There were many uncooked potato fries in it. The Peri Peri seasoning was not at all coated properly. These fries were really bland and had no salt too. Please avoid them as it's waste of money to order it and get disappointed.

Aloo Patty Burger was hot but the Patty had no flavor. They had added few raw veggies with patty which is the only good thing. There was some weird dish soap smell coming from the burger and we could eat only 2 bites from the burger before tossing it. Also the sauce in the burger smelled strange.

Paneer Kathi Roll was a disappointment too. The masala was kind of overpowering and bitter. The Roti used was normal one and not lacha paratha(as they right on the menu). The filling was not like Kathi Roll filling and the weird green chutney served with roll made the taste worst..

I recently tried Hint of Desi at work and was really impressed with how good it really was. The quality of the items was much better than I expected, since everything felt freshly well made. It looked exactly like the pictures as I remember. What I loved the most was the affordable pricing. It’s great compared to others because you’re getting amazing food in your system. It’s hard to find that balance of good quality and low prices, but they really nailed it! Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something with a desi vibe to it.
