Nice fancy place but the food for the price is not worth it. The bread that they serve, tasted good but the outer shell was very hard. One of us ordered a chicken with a lettuce wrap. Didn't enjoy or liked the presentation on the platter. $7 dollar side of fries wasn't even looking good. Looked a little like McDonald's fries on a platter with 2 little sides of ketchup. McDonald's fries taste better. Haven't had it for more than 3 years but I suppose they still taste the same. Waiter was upset because half of the party didn't feel like the tip that was included with the check was too much. Food was way overpriced for the quality. Wasn't much presentation on the plates that was brought out to our party. I really don't recommend this play for the price they charge. Mostly all plates are just about $20.00 and up. If it was really good food , then that's fine but it wasn't. The food wasn't bad at all, just the price for the food.
This in response from the owner. Thank you for responding but I don't think you even read what I wrote. I don't need to talk to a manager if something wrong, I'm telling you that your quality of food is too overpriced. I don't have a problem with paying any amount for food. Especially if it quality taste and presentation. The manager is not the problem I think. I don't need any offers for half priced drinks or meals. I don't drink at all. I would be worried also if you charge half price is my food going to be worse. I'm not trying to bad mouth your establishment but step up your game in taste and presentation. That's all. Like I said, the price is not bad if the food matches. Hope you take this as a learning experience on how you might want to improve your establishment. If you think your food is OK for the prices your charging then I guess that's fine. Not for me. That's why I write this so owners know how some people feel about there products. Not everyone feels the same. I'm no...
Read moreThe only thing that was bad about this place is the fact that we were STOLEN from at this establishment. 11/8 at 9:30pm me and my boyfriend went for dinner and everything was wonderful. our server Rigo was kind and attentive and so was everyone the whole night! the food was pretty good and we raved the whole night about how we wanted to bring our friends and family back here. We received the check and wrote a 6 dollar tip on our bill. We went home and woke up and there was an extra 20 DOLLARS ADDED to our bill. we immediately called the restaurant and spoke to manager Mark and at first he was okay, he asked us what happened and we calmly explained we loved the restaurant and the server but he committed FRAUD by writing in a 2 to our 6 dollar tip! we’ve had this happen at numerous restaurants at this point and we explained that although the service was great and so was the food we didn’t appreciate being stolen from. All Mark had to say was that the ticket reflected 160 instead of the 140 we constantly reminded him we put! I again explained we only put 6 dollars and he then kept repeating “well i’m just telling you what it says” “the total is here so” giving no EMPATHY OR REMORSE AT ALL for the fact that we paid A HUNDRED DOLLARS AND WERE STOLEN FROM AT HIS RESTAURANT. The fact of the matter is that WE didn’t give 26 dollars and were made to feel as if we were lying about a tip about a restaurant we wanted to return to, and that it wasn’t super serious that theft was committed. In the end he refunded the money which is great. thank you so much but it’s actually ridiculous that paying patrons being stolen from by employees wasn’t serious enough for him to offer more than “i’m sorry for inconvenience” We won’t be back simply for the principal but if you leave a tip make sure to securely put in the numbers or leave it in cash or you might get stolen from and not so apathetic attitude from...
Read moreEverything went wrong. Subpar food, lack of service, lack of table implements, dirty table, long wait times, no apology, no offer to reseat us. We paid so much money to have a special goodbye dinner with friends and it was a disaster.
We were seated outside at a dirty table which the hostess hurriedly wiped. No silverware, no appetizer plates which we asked for and waited too long for. It was 7:30 pm and my friend was starving. She emphasized we needed appetizers out soon. We waited forever and the soup and pot roast cheese fries came out with the meal. Even after we got our food we still didn’t have appetizer plates. We had to get appetizer plates off the other table. No dressing was brought with my husband’s entree salad. Long wait on the bread. Server didn’t know the menu and had to ask whether the bar had certain drinks.
When it got dark and we asked them to light the lanterns we were told the manager had to approve turning them on. Then we were told there was no gas. We had to eat by the light of two cell phones. *We we’re also told the manager would need to approve removal of an item from our bill. My friend asked for the manager. The manager never came out. I wonder if he was told.
Pot roast fries with cheese: no cheese. Soup: undercooked pasta. Salad: dressing not delivered until much later. Empty water glass: not refilled without a reminder. But the server probably couldn’t see the empty water glass because it was so dark: unreasonable work conditions. Our server disappeared for a long time. The other table said they also felt forgotten. We all sat, tired, waiting for the bill in the dark.
One star is for the chicken Madeira and sourdough bread which were good.
It’s too bad this place has gone downhill. It used to be our favorite place...
