My wife decided to surprise me for my birthday and took us to dine out at this restaurant. Restaurant has a nice decor but unfortunately that is the only attractive feature. It was a Monday and only 2 other tables were seated when we arrived around 7 pm. We ordered drinks and a guacamole and chicharron appetizer. In the meantime, some kind of salsa was prepared at our table. Salsa was not good at all and definitely not the typical salsa you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant and basically was served with about 7 chips. Salsa was not good at all. Chips were cold. The guacamole appetizer was ok and again did not taste anything like what guacamole typically served. Although the restaurant was basically empty, the drinks took a lot longer than expected until we had to ask our server for our drinks. Entrees finally arrived and all 3 adults were surprised about how small the portions were! Basically portions you expect from kids menú. The 3 adults in our party left majority of the food since we all agreed the food was not good at all. Our son...
Read moreWe had a late lunch a few days after Christmas, we had high expectations and we did not mind the high prices on their menu, but unfortunately we had a very bad experience. We waited over 20 minutes for a table (with reservation), then we waited over 40 min for our food, my snapper came raw and frozen. The waiter offered Michoacan enchiladas instead of the snapper and they gave me carnitas, I do not eat pork. A few minutes after, the manager came and said the restaurant will pay for the food since they understood all the mistakes made. Later, they gave us 3 desserts as a compliment, one was frozen. In my case, I had for lunch chips with guacamole and desserts. At the end they gave us the check with no explanation...we did not want to make a scene in front of our daughter that was visiting. But really, the whole experience was bad and confusing (we paid $40.00 USD for a raw snapper), this is exactly what you do not need specially during the holidays when you want to have beautiful moments with your family. The music was great, it seems all the employees need training and communication. The raw fish is really a red flag since I could end up with food poisoning. It was not what we expected at all. I am not sure we will come back or recommend this restaurant to our family...

To start off, we decided to check out the Jamaica-Naranja Mocktail that consisted of refreshing Hibiscus 🌺 Flower Tea infused with agave, orange juice, and a Tajin rim. To our surprise, the mocktail was subtle and very refreshing!
For appetizer, we decided to share the Shrimp Ceviche made with Clamato based salsa, lime, avocado, and cilantro. This dish was freshly made, and the quantity was perfect to share between two people.
For the main entree, we decided to try the Lobster Taco. Although very tasty, it was presented more as a Lobster wrap. It was very cheesy and I wished I could taste more the lobster.
To end the night, we decided to try the Churros De La Doña dessert with a unique presentation that consisted of the churros hanging on an umbrella. The dessert provided multiple toppings like Dulce de Leche, Chocolate Fudge, Sprinkles, and more!
