Destiny is literally the worst service worker I have met in my life. And it's ihop, so my expectations were already low. She was yapping loudly in the back the whole time, cussing very obnoxiously. She didn't say a word to us the whole time she seated us, and only spoke to ask what we wanted to eat. No expressions or anything. I asked for my sauce on the side, they didn't put it on the side, so they brought another one. The steak was literally hard it was disgusting. So after having to go outside to where Destiny and her coworker were smoking so that we could ask for a box and the check, we told her we weren't paying for our food because it was disgusting and the service was terrible. She said "the service I can understand, but you'll pay for your food because you ate it" (we ate a couple bites of everything to try it) and then said "but I can't have another person not pay for their food today" telling my that another person already did the same. My boyfriend gave her his card, which she then overcharged by 4 dollars. We asked for a receipt, and she started printing tons of receipt copies over and over, telling at us that we weren't overcharged (we literally pulled up our bank statement but she refused to look). So we will be submitting a chargeback. Afterwards I asked for her name, and she proceeded to tell at me to tell me her managers knows she takes a smoke break. Girl that's not the only reason I need your name lol. Worst ihop, actually worst restaurant experience of my life. And again, by bar was already set very low as it's an ihop.
EDIT 8/25/24: Area manager contacted me to let me know that the employees in question are no longer employed with the company, and sincerely apologized for the experience we had. He suggested another location to go to, and covered the meal for myself and my guest. Thank you for the amazing...
Read moreOn 5/5/22 Approx 10:30 p.m. upon walking in we were not greeted until about 5 mins of waiting despite of restaurant being empty. We asked for 2 shakes which waitress stated she had none & made it known that it was only her & the cook. In looking at the menu we considered getting the sausage & gravy meal & asked how much for 1 extra biscuit which waitress said $3.79 "what a joke" Instead We ordered a chocolate milk & blueberry lemonade splasher (tasted like a fountain mountain dew), I asked if I get fresh blueberries with that (as advertised) & she brought them. We then ordered a breakfast Sampler with added sharp cheddar cheese & a monster double pattie burger with a side of pancakes. The waitress first brought out one order of pancakes, minutes later the brkfst sampler. Five minutes later brought the side of pancakes and then ultimately the burger. It would have been nice for both pancakes orders to have been brought to the table so both ppl who are dining "together" would have started to eat at the same time.. Lastly, the cherry on top of our visit was the inaccurate & upcharge of my receipt. Nothing except for 1 drink matched the menu prices. We were upcharged an extra $1 for EACH entree & for the milk that was ordered. When I brought it up to the waitress' attention she proceeded to tell me how odd it was & how she will inform the mngr & became defensive stating that she only pushes a button in her system & that she needs to communicate it so that it doesn't make her look bad to customers 🤦♀️ I said yeah I'm a frequent customer & never have I paid $35 plus the tip I normally leave totaling $40 at an IHOP. You would think that all prices would be pre-set in their system according to the accuracy of their menu prices! She comped $5 off the tab for the issue at hand. Not the experience we wanted to have from...
Read moreIt was a long wait and when we finally sat at the booth behind the register, it still took forever for the server to arrive. When she finally did and took our order, without a smile or introduction, the wait for our food and drinks was long. They ended up running out of cups according to her, so half the table had regular cups and the other disposable, which was not really a problem. Another server ended up having to deliver our food to the table. The worst part of the experience though, was as we were waiting for our drinks a fly fell dead on the table. We initially couldn't figure out where it came from but since we were right behind the cashier, and essentially right behind the door we figured it had just come in from outside to commit suicide. But then another half dead fly fell and we looked up and noticed the flies swarming on the light above us. The place was packed so we knew we couldn't get another table. Once the drinks came we were just worried they'd fall in there so everyone was on high alert, then the food arrived in shifts (some got food, some didn't, while others were missing pieces of their meal). We just wanted to leave and as soon as we could get the attention of someone to find our server and get boxes and the check, we left. I should have informed our server about the conditions but considering I couldn't find her until the check came and it being so packed, I didn't bother. Our family of 6 (2 teens and 4 adults) just left the tiny, dirty booth we were squeezed in and took our food home to try and enjoy. It was my worse IHOP...
