OMG - THE WORST WAFFLE HOUSE! Alright listen to this crap... My daughter and I came to visit Hershey Park and got a hotel near the area. We are from Michigan by the way - almost a 10 hour drive. So we get into town, and I get excited to see a Waffle House. My daughter had never been there, so we go to the hotel check in, drop off our stuff and go to Waffle House. It is approx 10 pm. We were tired and hungry. We walked in and there were only 3 people working. All the tables were dirty but one. Of course no one sat there - it's the one with the AC blowing down on us. Didn't want to cause a hassle. We wanted to eat and get back to the hotel. Server came over, she was very good at what she did, food was awesome - no complaints, yet. I failed, and didn't grab enough cash - U wanted to make sure the server was tipped. My daughter had a credit card. We were going to split the check and I would pay for the food and she would pay for the tip. We explained to the server exactly what we wanted done - she acted as she understood the assignment. Now, let's talk about the cost, the food came to 28.64 and I was going to tip $8. So, the total amount would have been $36.64. Alright stay with those numbers! She was taking awhile at the register, so we decided just go to the register and leave. Haha! She looked at me and told me that I owed $36.64. Wait, What?! No, you have $30.00 in cash in front of you. She looks down, then, looks at her screen - for awhile- and says "Oh! I see what I did. Ok, I need your credit card to pay this 36.64 charge and then I'll refund it." I was stuck. Couldn't move. And now I am feeling like I'm about to seriously get scammed. I say "No, not going to give you anymore money. You need to void or refund what you have done and charge me correctly." She says "ma'am, I need your card! It's the only way I can fix this! I tell her - "you do understand that this is federal - do we need to call the police?" She damn near runs out of the server area - running her mouth - MAD!!! She brings back a male I haven't seen all night. (I've only seen the 2 girls) He comes out with his chest buffed - like he was a wannabe manager. Problem is - he refused to allow me to speak - at all. I looked at my daughter and started laughing - this is a joke. He as well, told me that I needed to pay the $36.64. Who is the idiot going to pay that?! Then I realized - while he is STILL talking, that there is $30 still sitting on the register. I looked at her, while he is still talking, and I said "Your money is right there - BYE! And we left. No manager in the restaurant. Customer service did not exist - especially when they don't get their way. It's like temper tantrums! They need classes in how to receive pay from guests. And for GOD'S SAKE please don't utilize a wannabe Manager - that treats people rudely, and acts like their words are the only words that matter. I'm the one that came in Aug 4 - latenight, I even wrote Waffle House - yeah, my only response back was my daughter getting the $16 that was charged on her credit card. Thanks, I guess. Must be a...

There's something undeniably comforting about walking into a Waffle House. It's like stepping into a home away from home, where the aroma of freshly cooked waffles and the sound of sizzling bacon greet you at the door. My recent visit to Waffle House was a testament to why this iconic diner has won the hearts of so many.
From the moment I sat down, I was immersed in the bustling, yet cozy atmosphere that makes Waffle House special. The diner's classic, no-frills interior design, with its familiar counter seating and booth options, instantly put me at ease, setting the stage for a genuinely comforting dining experience.
The menu, though straightforward, is executed with excellence. It offers a variety of breakfast classics that cater to any craving, at any hour of the day. I ordered their signature waffles, and they were nothing short of perfection—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and served piping hot. Accompanied by a side of perfectly cooked hash browns, scattered and smothered, and a steaming cup of coffee, it was a meal that felt both indulgent and heartwarmingly simple.
What truly elevates the Waffle House experience, however, is the outstanding service. The staff operates like a well-oiled machine, with cooks and servers working in tandem to deliver food quickly without sacrificing quality or warmth. Despite the diner's fast-paced environment, the staff members were incredibly friendly, making small talk and ensuring that my coffee cup was never empty.
Waffle House also impresses with its affordability and accessibility. It's a place where anyone can enjoy a delicious meal without breaking the bank, at any time of the day or night. This accessibility, combined with the diner's consistent quality and welcoming vibe, is what makes Waffle House a beloved institution.
Waffle House is more than just a diner; it's a community staple that provides comfort, connection, and delicious food around the clock. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you're guaranteed to leave with a full stomach and a warm heart. I'm already looking forward to...
Read moreDidn’t greet us when we came in…fine. But then we sat down and Keira was our waitress. We could barely even hear her speaking. Probably because she had headphones in listening to music. Took our order, didn’t get the onions we ordered in our hash browns but were charged for them. I ordered the all star meal so it’s supposed to come with 2 eggs. I ordered my eggs over medium. I got one egg almost cooked all the way through, and the other egg was completely fried. As a waitress, check the food you’re taking out and make sure it’s okay. Don’t let it get to the table like that. I paid for something I didn’t get. Then, not once did she come back and check on us. Literally walked by and laid the check on the table. She sat in a corner booth listening to music and playing on her phone the whole time. We were sitting at the booth right in front of hers and I tried to get her attention to see if we took the check up, or she took it since it was our first time there. She completely ignored us. We ended up taking our check up to the register and someone else had to ring us out. We left our tip and left. Not a single employee said have a good night, thank you or a single word. It was all about social hour between the employees. And I have never in my life had such a lazy waitress. I was blown away. Completely disappointed for our first time here. Keira, please find some kind of ambition or you’re going to be working as a Waffle House employee the rest...
