WORST-MANAGED RESTAURANT - EVER! If you like to needlessly wait to be taken to a table, this is the place for you. Management doesn't care.
We arrived at 4:10pm well before the dinner hour. People were waiting outside, all waiting chairs were full. When I stopped at the hostess table, I was told there was a 30-minute wait. I looked behind and to the left of the hostess and could see NO CUSTOMERS but absolutely every table EMPTY! When I asked why the long wait, she said "That's the wait I've been told to tell every customer.
There were FOUR people standing behind the hostess table! A fifth arrived after I asked to talk to a manager. The "Manager" said that they just didn't have enough people, despite my looking at 4 employees idly standing behind the waitress station plus a manager making FIVE people standing around doing nothing while about 20 people were waiting.
I asked to speak to the main manager. NOW SIX people were standing behind the hostess station while roughly 20 people were standing around waiting to be served. The "main" manager said that "there is nothing I can do."
I asked for a district manager or owner's number and she flat out refused to divulge the number. I guess she didn't want him or her to know how bad things were at the restaurant. She put his name on her business card and said I can call the restaurant number FRIDAY with today being Tuesday. When I asked her why she wasn't helping out to get people served, her response? "I can't do that. I'm a manager!" Talk about a privileged outlook. She flat out didn't give a hoot.
Needless to say, we left the restaurant NEVER to return. I have never felt so mistreated by people working in a restaurant. As I left, there WERE STILL FOUR people standing behind the hostess station. The two managers disappeared into the back somewhere rather than helping out..
TOTAL LACK of courtesy or caring. Good luck with that business model.
P.S. Instead of cutting and pasting canned responses, you may wish to look on the website you referenced below. I placed a longer response...
Read moreWe had a party of 7. The service was excellent.. our server was friendly, attentive and had a very good knowledge of the dishes served. She was extremely helpful when ordering. Overall our meals were good. The fried onion appetizer was a lot better than my previous visit. The mozzarella sticks in the appetizer sampler were not as tasty. The breading was not crispy. They reminded me of preschool food. Lol... The famous roadhouse rolls were a big disappointment. They were very small and dry. The cinnamon butter could not even help them. They used to be so good. So much so that they were a deciding factor when choosing where to dine. That said, my 14oz ribeye was pretty good. It was cooked medium rare. I prefer medium but I'd rather them err on the side of rare than have it be overcooked. It was nicely seasoned. I would definitely order again. I had a side salad with honey mustard dressing. That was good. Someone else ordered an 8oz sirloin cooked medium-well. It was a thicker cut and ended up being well done. They said it was a little dry but okay. Another ordered the 6oz sirloin (cooked medium), with shrimp. This sirloin was a thinner cut. It was cooked perfect. The shrimp was also good. The pork chop was pretty good. The apple pie and ice cream was okay. The pie filling was very runny. It was too much for one small scoop of ice cream. Lastly, something I rarely, if ever, comment on, is paying the bill. That process was very simply done through a table kiosk that was easy to use. The meal prices were comparable to other steak houses. All in all, it was a good experience. We will definitely eat...
Read moreWell-if I could give a negative review I would!! Our family had been loyal customers of this restaurant, however we will NEVER EVER visit this location or any other Texas Roadhouse. Today we went as a FULLY VACCINATED FAMILY of 12 to celebrate my grandsons FIRST BIRTHDAY. Upon getting to the restaurant I was told it would be an hour wait, we would be seated at two tables side by side in the same area. AFTER the hour wait, TESSA, the MANAGER on duty calls my daughter to inform her that they WILL NOT accommodate our request to sit together. The EMPLOYEE/REPRESENTATIVE of this restaurant is not trained/authorized to guarantee us our seating arrangements and WE NEEDED to talk to the MANAGER!!! Seriously, last I checked I was employed there. In speaking with the MANAGER TESSA-she was rude, not professional looking or in her speaking and dealing with me. Her conversation was, it was my problem NOT the restaurant’s! She was perfectly fine to let a $300-$500 bill walk out of the restaurant. Highly disappointed-my grandson loved dining here and watching people sit in the saddle and get sang to-needless to say he will not get this for his FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!! Of course they do NOT answer their phones upon multiple phone calls placed to ENSURE something like this WOULD NOT happen.
So much for giving them another shot since last time they forgot to place our order! Apparently, they do NOT think this restaurant needs to recoup any monies from the COVID pandemic!! Sad and piss poor representation all around of this...
