Weis Markets — Local services in Susquehanna Township

It was a big grocery trip this week. I dont usually stop at weis, but I was near by and figured I'd stop there. A had a huge overflowing cart of groceries. To my dismay, not a single register was manned. Every lane was self check out. I dont usually have an issue when I have just a few items, but that was not the case. I had 15 produce items atleast. There was no where to weigh and get scanned stickers in produce, so it was on the fly finding at the register. The process took forever and I didn't even have any issues (unlike the two people ahead of me) I get home. Get my goodies put away and went to break up the chicken into smaller bags for freezing. I pop open the package to be hit in the face with a strong odor similar to rotten eggs, mixed with carcass, mixed with dog farts. It was rotten and awful. Will never go back to this...

10-17-2018 Surprised again! Went in looking for an ice cream cake, wasn't sure they had them! I was surprised to find they have a multiple door freezer case full! Some with white icing, others with crum covering! The lady explained how they are layered with chocolate ice cream top layer, cookie crums middle and vanilla ice cream on the bottom!

She added my Son's name in 2 colors and it was ready in notime! I should have gotten the ladies name, as she was very customer friendly and answered other questions concerning other baked goods! They even have diebetic items, if your not sure which they are- just ask!

I shop Weis Mkt often, don't normally buzz the backery, but I learned something again this time! Very nice and much bigger selection of other backed goods then I knew!

I'm giving them a review of five stars although 4 1/2 would probably be more proper. I think the store is great and the pharmacy in particular is fantastic. The shelves are always stocked and the people are friendly, the only negative is the prices could be a little more competitive. However if you are a club card member you can get some pretty good deals. So if I had to choose between a 4 and a 5 I will choose a five because they are the best grocery store in the area. I go to other stores and they have so many shelves that are not stocked so you have to go back another time to get the things you want. Also the plastic bags at Weis Markets are much better than at any of the other stores as well as the carts are better. All in all a good place to shop for groceries and I get most of my...
