Previously, I gave 5 stars to this Korean-style bakery cafe. However, because there are many things (esp., food qualities and services) have changed, I need to review it again and take 2 stars out for food and service and 1 star for Atmosphere. First, somehow, bakeries' taste have overly become not as good as what they were in January, 2025. I have bought their bakeries multiple times and been tasting them for months. The taste of the breads has become worse overall, and the quality of the ingredients that go into the bakery has generally declined. In particular, the fruits that were used in the bakery were not fresh and had discolored fruits, which was a huge disappointment to me. And finally, I decided reviewing again and giving 3 stars for Food. The service of the staffs was just average, not special anymore. In January, 2025, when I first reviewed, there was no greeting in Korean when customers came in or left, but not anymore. And what was worse was that the overall atmosphere of the cafe was not as clean as when I first reviewed it. There was no cleaning of the tables or floors, and the area where the bakery items were placed was not clean at all. So I took 2 stars off out of 5 stars for Service.
Below was my previous review that I gave to this cafe, so that you can see how they have become so bad since I reviewed it first.
I stumbled upon this Korean-style bakery cafe on a rainy lunchtime visit. Opened in January 2025 (as one of the friendly employees told me), it's still a bit of a hidden gem, which meant I enjoyed a peaceful lunch. I opted for the mushroom soup and half Turkish ham sandwich combination, along with a separate hot Americano.
The sandwich was a standout. The turkey ham, fresh vegetables, and perfectly balanced oil-based sauce created a delicious harmony between the bread. I'm already planning my next visit to try their other sandwich creations!
While the sandwich impressed, the mushroom soup, unfortunately, fell a little short. Although it looked promising, the flavor was too subtle. I would have preferred a richer, creamier broth with more potatoes. The presentation with the mushrooms was nice, but the overall taste and texture didn't quite live up to expectations.
As a coffee lover, I found the Americano to be average – not bad, but nothing particularly special. My biggest disappointment was the single, small size available for hot coffee. It was comparable to a Starbucks "Tall," which felt a bit meager.
Despite the soup and coffee shortcomings, the bakery's atmosphere and service were delightful. I was warmly greeted with a chorus of "An Nyung Ha Se Yo" (Hi in Korean) from all the staff upon entering, which added a nice touch. The clean interior, accented with greenery, created a pleasant environment.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit and discovering this new Korean-style bakery. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu, especially those tempting sandwiches! If you're in the area, it's worth...
Read moreA few weeks ago, I ordered an iced caramel macchiato, and it came out with whipped cream on top. I was so shocked that I asked why, and they said it was just how it was supposed to be. I was dumbfounded... I was wondering what the heck this was, with whipped cream floating in the cold coffee. I always order a caramel macchiato, but this was the first time and this is first place here it was served like this.
I said okay and drank it, but it didn't taste like coffee that’s kind of coffee milk so I told them it wasn't strong enough, and they took it back and added coffee to it, making it so bitter that I couldn't drink it anymore. In the end, I couldn't even drink it and threw it away. The place coffee price not reasonable more expensive than others but they make such a mess that it's undrinkable, and it makes me furious. It's absurd that these young people don't even have a barista and are handling this problem so insincerely.
I'm disappointed I didn't take a picture of the coffee back then, but I think any place that sells coffee should have a skilled barista. It used to be a place I enjoyed, but I won't be going back, and it's a shame to give it...

Welcome to Confections. Your local bakery.
?
Wait, what's the number?
Come inside, bring a book or a laptop.
Pretend you're studying or reading.
Then look around.
From the menu to the bread to the table setting to the music to the windows.
Then to the way the customers are parked in the parking lot.
Then think to yourself,
"Where the hello, am I?"
Welcome to Suwanee, they say
Hi, Smile for us.
?
Just kidding.
I made up the numb...
just kidding,
Look at the windows then to your watch.
If you don't have a watch,
Ask someone in the cafe shop for a time.
Becau...
I fell asleep.
Alarm just rang I woke up.
Time is 171....
I fell asleep again.
Thank you classic music.
