Visited here for the 1st time after searching for a late night dessert place. Never had a crepe before figured I'll give it a try. Upon walking in, the place had several people sitting down waiting. Immediately noticed there was an ordering monitor and begin to place my order. Their system doesn't really allow you to customize your crepe without going to different sections. It took a long time to order and when I glanced behind me, there were people standing on top of me waiting to use the monitor. Also in the same section, they had a place for you to grab utensils or napkins and to return your dirty plate. Why would you only have 1 ordering location and the most inconvenient location. I felt rushed to place the order so I quickly ordered something. They don't have a website where you can browse and order online. After you place an order it just says thank you. No ticket number and no name. I observed the staff visiting everyone's table asking if this was your crepe. What kind of craziness is that? There was a commotion where a large group was missing 2 items and the lady didn't understand what was needed. She came over and turns out she had my friends order. I asked her about mines and she asked what did I order. She went back to the kitchen and never returned. I waited over 30 minutes to get 1 cheesecake crepe with no additions. I had to repeatly walk up to their counter and asked whats the process to get my food?, is it coming?, did yall received it? The man and another woman were staring out the screen and flipping thru orders looking confused on where my order was. They must of found it and the man stated they will bring it out but failed to ask where I was sitting. The lady I spoke to earlier just stared and then proceeded to cut up some fruit. Finally I got my crepe and noticed 1 small piece of oreo cookie on top. I find it strange that they took the order cookie, split it apart, scraped the creme off, and then cut the cookies into 4 pieces and place 1 piece on top of my crepe. I know its for decor but wow. The crepe was good wish there was more caramel sauce. Overall this place would be great if they figure out their ordering and...
Read moreI drove 45 minutes to come back to a place I used to love, but this visit turned out to be really disappointing. After waiting about 30 minutes for my order to even be started, I was about to be handed a flat, stale crepe. When I mentioned that this wasn’t what I was used to, the young man raised his voice and told me I should have said something before he started. I was confused—how was I supposed to know I needed to explain what a crepe should be like AT A CREPE SHOP!?
Things got worse from there. He went back and forth with me, saying I should’ve added it to the order, and was just generally rude. I asked him to remake the crepe, he mumbled under his mask, then picked up a call on a dirty phone using the same gloves he was wearing to handle our food to talk on the phone and started making my order wrong again. When I pointed it out, instead of remaking it properly, he just threw the missing toppings on top of the crepe he had already made.
Overall, the experience was nothing like what I remembered. The service was rude, the food was poorly made, and I left disappointed. I really hope the staff gets better training and stops serving stale crepes, handling food unsafely, or raising their voice at customers. Employees were not using name tag in order to properly identify who the...
Read moreHad an outstanding experience!!! Would 10/10 recommend not only for the matcha crepé slices but the outstanding staff. During a spur of the moment desire for sweets after a renowned win during a pac man board game, we were left scrounging for a place open at 10:50pm on a Saturday night! At 10:50pm and a half, we decided Crepè Square was our go to since they’re were open for another 9.5 minutes! At 10:51 we were on our way following all traffic laws, and I mean sort of all. During the trip there, we called ahead and begged for anything they had left out, knowing good and well we were basically the scum of restaurant tales since we were coming in hot less than 5 minutes before closing on a Saturday night. Even though the sweet middle aged night shift lady was beyond nice in dealing with us, we knew deep down she probably hated us, yet she never showed it, not even a bit. We got in and got out with a single minute to spare. The matcha crepé was incredible and she even put matcha powder on it for us!! By no way do I condone walking in 5 minutes before closing, but I’m glad we picked such an understanding place! They definitely earned another customer and recommendations anytime the topic pops up!! Merry Crepés’mess and happy crepé...
