Sara Donuts — Restaurant in Suwanee

This is my favorite donut shop to go to. After one of my coworkers brought some in I just couldn't stop thinking about it. It's almost like crack how addictive the donuts are here. The type of donut you eat and have existential crisis. Okay I'll stop.

The donuts here are affordable and have a high quality to it. This isn't like Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts. Most of the donuts and pastries here are baked. The donuts is all I ever order and they taste just like little cakes. Quality and flavor are spectacular.

The menu is isn't too big but everything on it is worth a try. My recommendations for donuts are red velvet and the sour creme flavored ones. I've had almost all of the flavors and they all taste great in my opinion.

You can get a mixed dozen for about $10 which is a lot more affordable than I had expected. The staff is very friendly. The service is simple, you walk up and order. They open early and close early. The line can be long as well in the mornings so plan ahead. If you want advice on which ones are popular, take a look at what is about to run out and order that.

Overall, I am a huge fan of this place as you can tell. I usually buy them for my coworkers or family, but there have been plenty of times when I contemplated eating the entire box myself. Like I said...

I placed an order from TooGoodToGo. Last Friday, on pickup day, I had a party at my house with the kids. I was very excited and went to pick up the order, but I arrived later than the scheduled pickup time, and the store had already closed. (I already paid through the app)

The store was also closed on Saturday and Sunday. So Monday, I went to the store just before closing time to explain the situation, but the owner (a lady) just told me in a rather frustrating voice that it was too late and nothing could be done.

From what I saw, there were still some donuts left, but they didn’t give me even one. I ended up making two trips to the store, both of which were wasted, and I spent more than an hour driving but just ended up losing money,

I understand that I missed the scheduled pickup time, it's still upsetting that I paid in advance and didn't even get a single donut.
