I went for the first time today and can’t stop thinking about when I can escape the kids to go again. I went there with my eleven year old and my eight year old daughter so we could have lunch plus reading time.
We ordered two hot chocolate, a latte, 3 empanadas, and 2 arepas de asada. I also asked for spicy sauce and they did not disappoint. The empanadas were well made and full of meat/cheese. Their softness seemed fresh and they weren’t greasy.
Dios mío the arepas were soooo delicious. We ordered grilled beef and it was well cooked, well seasoned… TODO. The arepa itself was its whole own butter flavored dish that you probably wouldn’t been full with. Then the meat was well done but not burnt. It was juicy to the bite but firm. The fried cheese in the middle looked a nice crisp brown around its edges and was a strong consistency. The pico the gallo was chunky and I actually felt full from 2/3rds of the arepa plus half an empanada, which was surprising.
The service was friendly, attentive, and bilingual. It was very available for a Sunday lunch time visit. We were only one of two customers which tells me this is a hidden gem.

Read moreThis was our first time here. We're big Venezuelan arepas fans. If not for Google, I would've never known this coffee shop sold arepas. The young lady at the front was amicable. We ordered two arepas and a kids' cheeseburger meal. The arepas were amazing and everything we expected. The wait was long, despite ordering fried vs grilled (as we were told grilled took longer), but it was worth the wait. They were steadily busy, so I could see why. I paid close attention to all the orders that came out, to see what I should order next time, and everything looked so delicious! They also have various savory pastries, such as ham and cheese. Their coffee and juices selection looked great and we plan to order both next time. The kids' cheeseburger meal was really good, or child really liked it, and the meat wasn't overcooked, dry. The only thing I missed was plantains in the arepas, as none of them had it. Also, I wish the owners used actual plates for dine-in. Our three meals were served in Styrofoam plates. I wish the restaurant was more...
Read moreThe staff is very kind, patient and helpful. She answered any question I had and it made just the overall experience great. Though slightly pricey completely worth it.
I Ordered the Pelua Arepa Which is an Arepa with Shredded beef, Gouda cheese it’s offer extra fried or baked and I went with fried . I also ordered a frozen Mango Juice The shredded beef for the Arepa was so flavorful and tasty. The right amount of cheese and a warm and fresh tasting Arepa . I wish they offered the seasoned sauce that they the beef is made in to go or I should have asked ask if they can add more of the sauce to soak the meet just a little bit more because the beef was a bit dry to my liking at the start but still very very yummy & flavorful . Next time I will prob order a green sauce or something . The mango juice was perfect is not too sweet and very good .
Can’t wait to return for breakfast or...
