Worst Culvers experience ever.
Usually I love any Culvers I've been to, but the staff and manager at this location obviously don't work by the "customer comes first" mantra. The problem here stems from a server who had our tray of 3 combo Meals and couldn't locate our table. Literally walked around a 65° super air conditioned dining room for easily 5+ minutes. It turns out the number he was looking for didn't match what they gave me for the table. I can understand the mistake, but when he finally came over to our table after stopping by every other table in the place, I agreed he finally found the right table, but was Not interested in cold food. Now, this employee, who was not a teenager working a summer job, but a grown man of maybe 30!!!! had the nerve to argue with me that it was "like only 20 seconds". I responded with "I just paid $37.00, and I would appreciate 3 Hot and Fresh Hamburgers please". I don't know. Maybe I was dealing with Frank Von Culver, owner of the whole chain, but what this lazy sack did was take the tray to his manager and had him deliver it to our table. He stated that " sometimes our numbers get switched but I assure you this food is plenty warm". Good enough for us I guess. Now, being with my 17 year old daughter and her boyfriend in for a weeks visit from Maine, I decided not to escalate my frustration. Long story short. Their cheapness in not preparing us a couple new combos to ensure their customers had a great dining experience, resulted in Not enjoying the coldest, worst burger and fries I have had in recent memory. In fact, the whole experience was completely frustrating. I won't be returning to this establishment, and if I owned this particular franchise, I would seriously be concerned about any such future customer service miscues because word of mouth, and certainly google reviews like this are a businesses lifeblood.

I am both disappointed, upset, and just plain shocked at the service I just received from the Sycamore Culvers. I went to drive thru to order a crispy chicken sandwich with easy condiments, everything on it and extra pickles. The order appeared to be correct on the drive thru screen. After paying for and receiving my food, I opened up a sandwich that had no condiments and only one pickle. The receipt listed the chicken sandwich, and underneath that it said "Ask Me". I returned to the drive thru and explained that my order wasn't made correctly. I was instructed to drive up front, where a brunette girl wearing a headset asked me what happened. I clamly and politely explained the issue. She still seemed confused and continued to ask questions. I answered them with no problem. She then asked to see the sandwich which I handed her--and continued to ask more questions. She left the window and returned asking to see the receipt. I provided it and she returned with a number to wait. Nearly 10 minutes later, another girl brings out the order, apologizing and thanking me. I came home to open up the SECOND sandwich and see that it was made THE EXACT SAME WAY AS THE FIRST ONE! I am angry, confused, and hurt that I was targeted for no apparent reason. Read moreThe Other day I wanted sometime for two one scoop Ice cream Sundays. They were extremely busy so, I just waited because I thought perhaps they were overwhelmed. They were, But they worked very hard busting out orders. I called asking if I would have to wait much longer because I was trying to get ice cream home to my partner before he had to go to bed for work. The manager came out and apologized for the wait and, was afraid I was going to be really upset. It seemed like he was doing his very best in a very frantic situation. He displayed professionalism and heard me out with how I was treated at the window. He made sure to get my ice cream out right away and, Gave us a coupon for food and ice cream. This was very much appreciated though not expected, I was really just hoping to get my order, So this was very nice. He displayed professionalism and, I could tell this person is a great manager.
