I give this beautiful restaurant a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
I recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Sycamore Cafe, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor had a charming, retro vibe that made it a perfect spot to start the day.
The service was remarkable. Our server greeted us with a bright smile and genuine enthusiasm, making us feel welcomed right away. She was attentive without being intrusive and offered excellent recommendations from the menu. The staff seemed to be well-coordinated, ensuring that our experience was seamless and enjoyable.
Now, let’s talk about the food! The breakfast menu at Sycamore Cafe is a delightful blend of classic favorites and creative twists. I opted for the skillet. The perfectly poached eggs on top were the star of the dish and signature fluffy pancakes and a drizzle of maple syrup, and they were absolutely divine. The pancakes were light and airy, cooked to perfection.
My dining companion had the omelete Mexicana, which was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and flavors.
We also indulged in their house-made tea, which was rich and aromatic—definitely a great start to the day!
Overall, my experience at Syncamore Cafe was nothing short of fantastic. Exceptional service, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere made it memorable. I can't wait to return to try more of their offerings. If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot that delivers on all fronts, I highly recommend Sycamore Cafe!

Read moreI used to love this place but the last few times I have came it wasn't what it used to be. I am basing this on my most recent visit since it had been so long with the others. My last visit went like this... there was going to be 4 of us. We were told to see ourselves by a waitress, so we did. No issue there. Two of us came in out of the 4 so we told the waitress and ordered 2 waters to drink. We waited a bit for the rest of our party and ordered mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. The other 2 members ordered a diet and a tea to drink. The sticks came and were cold/frozen in the center and still no drinks for the other 2. The one mentioned it and the waitress argued with Her about whether she ordered a drink or not. She went and got the drinks and then said she was having an off day. That happens, I'm not unsympathetic still doesn't excuse the arguing. The food was not very warm and our orders were not exactly what we wanted. The waitress said the kitchen messed up. Not Her fault but if more than one order is wrong, that may be an issue. We had to remind our waitress to get us drink refills twice. Again we were met with she was having an off day, oddly enough the table behind us seemed to be getting everything as they ordered, when they needed it. Again, I used to love this place but to wait awhile and then that, I will go somewhere else next time and skip the...
Read moreSycamore Cafe is a good place to get a nice, sit down meal that isn't fast food. The food isn't that bad - it's pretty standard to what you would get at your normal American style restaurant, and so would suit all in your party - it's a "bring the grandparents after church or meet for early breakfast" kind of place.
Service is okay. There are issues with consistency, and it doesn't matter if you come in at 7a or at noon, it's still a gamble whether or not you'll get consistent service. The restaurant itself is clean, but dated. It could do with a deep clean (especially the carpets) and a refresh.
Why it's okay? The bill. Sticker shock got us good! For a party of 2 who got the exact same thing (ham and cheese omelette with hashbrowns) and only two extras (milk for baby and a side of bacon), $30...
