TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Just ordered a pizza on 2/14/16. It's about 8:54p and the pizza is being brought back to Rosati's because when it was delivered there was only a fourth of the pizza. It was completely collapsed and smashed together. It looked disgusting. Some one must of held the pizza box side ways and dropped it for it to look the way it did. I did not pay for a pizza to look like that!!!! I contacted Rosati's immediately spoke to the woman who picked up. Yes, I got her name. And she wasn't helpful at all. I was going to have to wait all over again for another pizza and they would not even compensate by throwing in a free appetizer for their screw up. Why wouldn't a business try to make the customer happy besides replacing the pizza that they messed up, why should I be inconvenienced? It's about the principle they should have made the situation right to keep a customer. Well I tried to get a refund and apparently there are no refunds. I paid with cash and tipped the driver!!! My husband took back the pizza to Rosati's and the woman at the counter wasn't surprised when she opened up the box and told my husband this happens often and what they do is replace the pizza. Well that's good to know that the driver drops pizzas and still delivers them!!!! I am so livid right now to the point that I am writing this review so that other consumers are aware of the mistreatment that we encountered tonight. There was no manager on duty tonight. Instead of telling me no no no how about ask for my contact information and call me back after you call your manager and explain the situation to them, but that never happened. So now I paid cash for a pizza+delivery+tip and received NOTHING!!!! I don't have a pizza and I don't have a refund!!!! That is bad business!!! I received a note stating pizza was returned from the woman at the counter. I have all the contact info I need to discuss this matter with the appropriate individuals tomorrow morning at 10am. Read moreI have purchased pizza and calzones multiple times from the DeKalb, Illinois Rosati's many times while my son when to NIU. Sometime just to surprise him when he was studying and sometimes we ate it together in his apartment. I have told many a person that there is no better calzone. I have to admit that I had the worst calzone that I have ever eaten in my life yesterday at the Sycamore Rosati's. This is a major disappointment as it is only 1 mile from my home. I was so excited when I called it in, ordered a mushroom and peperoni calzone and drove out to pick it up. When I came home and I opened the box and found that the calzone looked very strange. It was a beautiful shaped calzone but the Sycamore, Illinois Rosati's put a spoonful of mushrooms on the center of the bottom straight edge then placed multiple slices of pepperoni on top of it. It look like a pimple on a flat calzone. I called to complain and was told that it was made the way corporate told them to make it. I have never had a calzone that didn't have the ingredients spread over the whole calzone. After multiple minutes on the phone where the staff member didn't seem to care and stated multiple times that it was made correctly, he offed to make me a free one the next time I ordered. I have to admit that I am unsure whether or not I will bother ordering again from the Sycamore Rosati's. Read moreA couple of weeks ago my wife and I ordered a pizza and a chief. Had a problem with the order. When we called to explain the the auju that we had requested to go with the sandwich was not there. The person on the line asked what they could do for us. I said I would like the auju of course . He stated that he didn’t know when he would be able to get that out to us. Probably would be at least an hour. Needless to say I was upset. The sandwich was taken off our bill but that was beside the point. Now fast forward to today. Saw that the owner had responded and and stated that they understood our frustration and that they had spoken to the staff and asked if we would give them another chance… well everyone can have an off day so we ordered again… will not be ordering again. Once again no auju. Called again and he stated the sandwiches were dipped in auju. That is not how auju is served and has never been done that way when we have ordered in the past. He said he could send out the sides of auju but again he didn’t know what time it would get here. So the order was delivered at 1230 and the auju at 130. So another sandwich in the trash.
