This location was my introduction to 7Brew and it didn’t/doesn’t disappoint. Like any coffee shop it might take a time or two for you to figure out which drink you like, the reviews where they went once and rated it 1-star don’t seem fair because drinks are so subjective.
Yes I agree that the drinks are more on the sweet side than say a local coffee shop however they are all extremely customizable and unlike the local coffee shops (imo) the brewistas (as I found out they are called) are always happy to help customize. (Tip if you like stronger coffee always add shots to the classic 7 drinks)
The coffee is always consistent which I love, and something Starbucks and Dunkin could learn a thing or two from.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, I’ve gone enough that I can tell some of the staff recognize me and when they type in your phone number your recent drinks show up for them!
I haven’t had to do this but if you get a drink and there is a problem there is a walk up window that you could probably go to instead of getting back into line with the cars, I ordered from there once when I walked over from Kohl’s and it’s a nice option to have!
The line can be intimidating and there was once where it took 20 minutes (opening weekend) but most of the time it’s about 5 minutes. When we (humans) are idle and “stuck” our brains perceive time differently and we think much more time has passed than in reality so just pay attention when you enter the line to the time or song playing I bet you’ll be surprised at how quick they are.
My drink is an iced brunette! Which I personally think is the best on their menu, but I...
Read moreI’ve been a regular customer at Seven Brew Coffee on Fields Ertel in Loveland, Ohio, visiting nearly every weekday for most of this year. In the beginning, I genuinely enjoyed my visits. I appreciated the sugar-free and non-dairy options, and the staff was friendly and seemed committed to delivering a great experience.
However, over the past two months, the quality of service has noticeably declined. I’ve repeatedly received incorrect orders—including drinks made with dairy milk when I requested non-dairy, real sugar instead of artificial sweeteners, caffeine when I ask for decaf, and cold when I order hot drinks or vice versa. I make all of these changes for ethical and medical reasons, so receiving the wrong drink can have risky consequences. All of these mistakes have been happening consistently, at least on a weekly basis, but usually twice a week.
During my most recent visit—which will be my last—I was given an iced coffee, something I’ve never ordered. When I politely asked for it to be remade, I even said I’d be okay coming back another time if it was an issue. The employee agreed to remake it, though not in a particularly friendly manner. The replacement drink was handed to me with hot coffee dripping from the cup, spilling into my lap and dripping down the cup. I gave the drink back and drove away without even requesting a refund.
I no longer recommend visiting this location. While the first few experiences may be pleasant, repeated visits have shown a consistent decline in service quality, staff attitude, and order accuracy.
Also, the Muffin Tops have a dangerous amount of...
Read moreI wanted to like 7 Brew. A lot of people I know love it, so I thought I’d give it a try.
Our first annoyance was that we entered the double line drive through system at the same time as someone who ended up getting their coffee almost ten minutes before us, which seemed disorganized and unfair. Then, when ordering our coffees, the employee told us they were out of whole milk. First of all, you’re a coffee place; you need milk. Go to the nearest store and buy more rather than disappointing hundreds of customers. Secondly, my sister ordered a cappuccino before we were told about the milk situation and the employee did not ask her about a milk alternative. When we got our drinks, we asked what the cappuccino was made with and the employee told us that they substituted the whole milk for half and half without asking my sister what she would have preferred. We asked them to remake the drink with a different milk and we could both see and hear an employee inside talking badly about us for “not ordering the drink right” and visibly rolled her eyes. I believe that the employees here are overworked and stressed, which is a problem that stems from the company, but it is still no excuse to treat customers poorly.
From start to finish, the line took 28 minutes which is far too long for a “drive through”, even if there are a lot of cars. The drinks ended up being very tasty, but they were not worth the rudeness and disorganization from the staff. I don’t believe I will ever return to 7 Brew and I will definitely not be recommending...
