My wife and I are over the road truckers and are staying in town for some time off to visit the park. We decided to try LongHorn after having several bad attempts at other locations in the country.
To start with we were welcomed with kindness and immediately seated to our seats. A short few minutes later we were greeted by our great young man server named Trey ! He took our beverage order and promptly returned with them.
He asked us about apps and we ordered the French onion soup and he asked if we would like bread and butter.
He returned quickly with the bread and soon followed up with the soup. The soup was hot, robust, and the onions were soft. The bread in it could have used some help along with the melted cheese or lack of it.
Shortly afterwards Trey brought us our salads and they were fresh crisp and not old stale produce.
After consuming our salads our entrees were served fresh and hot and even cooked to proper temps for the proteins.
My wife ordered the 6oz filet and 8 grilled shrimp. The shrimp had a interesting creol type seasoning on them which provided a slight punch in the after taste.
The filet was a slender cut and not tall but more short and wide, thus creating a tender but not as typical tenderness one would expect from a filet. However my wife was pleased so this goes far for me.
I had the bone in ribeye cut ordered medium and was served to good temp. The steak did have a flavor profile but the cut itself was containing more fat and grissle then I felt it should have for a ribeye cut.The cook of the meat was spot on but the quality of the cut could be improved. I had the upscale side of the roasted corn on the cob and it was just awful. Sorry LongHorn this one you need to improve on if your going to try to duplicate elote street corn. All the sauce was runny and fell of the cob while the seasoning was lacking any kind of flavor. The corn was steamed not roasted the only roasting was the few pieces of the husk attached to the cob. The value for 2.99 upgrade was not worth it.
However our server Trey, was a outstanding young man who was on his "A" game and knew the menu by heart very well. Kudos to this generation young man for going the distance and providing his best to all he served around us.
As far as our overall experience I would say the store was a "B" rating for proper cooked foods, but lacking in some areas for flavor and lack of quality cuts of meat.
Total price for the both of us was 101.00 with 22.00 tip. I'd recommend to come and try here but don't expect the top quality steak and sides.

Read moreMy family visited this LongHorn Steakhouse location off Fields Ertel in Cincinnati after my grandmother’s funeral. We had a large party (around 25 people) and had let the staff know ahead of time that it would be about 20. When we arrived, there weren’t enough seats, so my cousin gently moved a nearby table to accommodate everyone. Immediately, the hostess rushed over, raising her voice, saying “You can’t move the tables! It’s a liability issue!” and “I was told there were only 20 people and now there’s more?!”
My cousin apologized and stopped moving the table, but instead of handling the situation calmly or professionally, the staff doubled down on making our group feel like a burden. The server looked at us and visibly shook her head, then started pointing and counting us out loud. The hostess then moved the same table herself—without saying excuse me to those nearby—and added, “Well if I knew there were more than 20, I wouldn’t have sent my other server home!” For context, there was only one other table in the section.
At that point, I had enough. I told her, “Thank you for being so accommodating,” and let her know we were leaving. My partner, daughter, and I walked out. The manager followed us to the parking lot and tried to get us to come back in, but the damage was already done. We felt unwelcome, disrespected, and embarrassed — on one of the most difficult days of our lives.
We weren’t expecting perfection, but basic kindness and professionalism would’ve gone a long way. I hope the staff and management reflect on how they treat grieving families and large parties...
Read moreWe are able to place an order here any time the manager Mike is not working, but when he is there, and I try to get my grilled chicken and rice without the peppers and green seasoning, he says he can't accommodate that even though every other manager can?!?! When we order from there, which is at a minimum of twice a week as long as when we call to place the order Mike is not there, because this is our go to restaurant, and he always says he can't do it.... However, whenever I order when he is not there no matter the time they are able to accommodate my request, so I really do not understand why this request is so complicated on his shift?? I even spoke with another manager about this issue, and he said he would explain it to him, and the 1 time I ordered after that when Mike was there he was able to do it, mind you it was the very next day, but since that day he has not been able to do anything to help me, and makes me feel like he does not care to lose my business which consists of a $60.00 order minimum 1-2 times a week at least, plus a $5-$10 tip for the staff member that brings it to the car, so what is really going on?!?! I really feel like he does not care about having great repeat customers because what I ask for definitely is not a big deal like he makes it seem because every other manager is able to do it without issue?!?!? So I guess I am going to have to find a different favorite place like Outback or something because any time I go there they accommodate any request I make without question?!?! I genuinely feel like someone needs to have a talk with Mike...
