Papa Johns pizza is great. This place is horrible.
My wife and I placed an order online. Came in 5 minutes after they told me it would be done just to make sure they would have it done by then. Got there and they couldn't find our order. After waiting 5 minutes they finally told me the delivery drive took my order out by accident. They told me they couldn't give me my pizza because it had "left the store." After waiting another 10 minutes, I told them I would just take the original order and they I didn't care at this point.
When I got home, the toppings were wrong so I called them to have them make a new one. Went there 20 minutes after the call and they hadn't even made the replacement pizza yet.
I told them that the toppings were wrong and they required me to bring the original pizza back into the store. Luckily I had it in the car so I brought it in and proved to them the toppings were wrong, as if they assumed I'm a liar.
After taking the orginal pizza back, they started remaking my order. They pizza maker was throwing things around and being careless with our pizza. After messing up a second time, he threw the pizza and tray off to the side and started being even louder and more careless than before.
Realizing we wouldn't even enjoy eating what he was preparing, we told them we just wanted to get a refund and that we would go somewhere else. After hearing this, the pizza maker shouted "OKAY, GOOD!" And threw the second replament pizza on the counter.
Long store short, we got a refund for our money, but not our time. We ended up going to the local grocery store and got some frozen pizzas to feed our family.
To the store manager, I don't care if your store is short handed or if an employee messed up on a pizza. I was very displeased with how I was treated and how the employees acted in front of me and other customers. This was the first and only time I will be placing orders through...
Read morePretty good service. I dialed the wrong place and the guy politely redirected me to the correct location. Once I ended up on the phone with the correct location, I was put on hold. I understand, as sometimes places get busy. The employee who ended up taking my order was not so friendly as the first. He clearly didn't want to be on the phone with me. Instead of asking simple questions, his technique for gathering information was simply saying one word in a monotone voice. For instance, "Name..." "Number..." I don't think he could've sounded less happy if he tried. I don't expect a super happy employee, but maybe one who didn't hate his job would be nice? Oh well. I totally understand that there are just some who are particularly bad at customer service. It's hard to weed out.
As for the more important part, the delivery was very good. Some friends and I were at the Cincinnati mall, not an ideal location for pizza delivery, but we got the pizzas with no problem. The employee who delivered the pizza just called me as he approached our location and it was as easy as that. This employee was very polite, which is more than I expect from an adult going on a hike just so a bunch of teens could have a few pizzas. We tipped accordingly and we had no issues with the payment process. Seemless.
As for the food itself, it was really good. Of course, that's coming from a bunch of hungry teens, so take that as you will. We got two larges and both didn't last more than 5 minutes, as they were so good. Not much else to say here, just some good pizza

She was extremely rude during the delivery — instead of properly dropping off the order, she handed it roughly to my 11-year-old son without any communication, saying “Here, you take it,” before speeding off. This behavior was especially concerning, as there are strict speed limits in our neighborhood due to the number of children playing outside. Rather than confirming the correct apartment or communicating in any way, the driver made assumptions and acted unprofessionally. Additionally, the contact number associated with the order was my husband’s, who was at work and unable to assist at the time.
