We had a great experience from our initial tasting to our final cake! Tori was absolutely wonderful to work with, couldn't say enough positive things about her! It felt like we became friends just from talking over the phone. Her friendliness, customer service, and attention to detail was excellent. We knew we wanted our cake to be a cheesecake instead of a traditional cake and they were able to make it happen. When we did our initial tasting they included as many cake and cheesecake flavors as possible including the fillings and icing. We decided on white chocolate raspberry cheesecake for top tier, traditional cheesecake for middle tier, and white cake with raspberry filling for the bottom. Due to Covid we could not go into the bakery to have meetings so we did everything over phone and email. I was nervous at first but Tori brought my vision to life and everything was perfectly doable over email, especially because she was so responsive. We chose Italian buttercream icing so the color of the cheesecake wouldn't show through. It was delicious! Weeks before our wedding we decided to add more sheet cakes and cheesecakes to have in the back to make sure we had enough desserts. They accommodated the request without any hassle and were really helpful with coordinating everything .Our venue required a room flip between ceremony/reception and they even delivered the cake during the room flip in the evening. The cake was delicious and we loved working with A Spoon Fulla Sugar! We couldn't recommend them enough. Highly recommend the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. For anybody in the Cincinnati area, if you are looking for a dessert, A Spoon Fulla Sugar, is the place to go. I was looking to order a birthday cake and sent an email with questions and was impressed with the quick response. I followed up with a phone call and the employee I spoke to was so kind and very helpful. After trying a few other bakeries in the area, where the workers have been downright rude, or the bakery items just don’t taste that great for what you pay, A Spoon Fulla Sugar, was a breath of fresh air. On the day of pickup, staff was just as nice and the items were ready and as described. And let me tell you their hummingbird cake and pecan pie was to die for. They both were by far the best my family has ever had. Often you get a cake that will taste good, but the icing is not or vice versa, but that was not the case here. The cake had the most delicious flavor and the icing was just as yummy. The pie was equally amazing and for my mom, whose birthday we were celebrating, she might of loved it even more. She said it was the best pie she had ever had and she doesn’t normally like bakery cakes, but loved this one. To top it off, both desserts didn’t just taste good, but they looked amazing. When I opened the box, I couldn’t stop saying how much I loved it; the cake was absolutely beautiful. A Spoon Fulla Sugar was delicious, beautiful, and so easy to work with! First of all, I am primarily gluten free, so it was important for me to have a cake that I could eat at my own wedding. I tried 3 or 4 different cake shops, and all of them but A Spoon Fulla Sugar had something about them I didn’t like: cake was too crumbly, icing tasted like store bought icing, they wouldn’t do a full 5 tier wedding cake like I wanted, and other issues. Then, we tried A Spoon Fulla Sugar. They had so much variety for icings and fillings, delicious cake, delicious gluten free cake, and beautiful designs! They were a no-brainer.

Our cake turned out beautiful and delicious. We had many great reviews from guests about how tasty it was! Also, we had quite a few people attend who are also gluten free who were so happy that they could still eat cake. Especially my celiac bridesmaid who got to eat multiple slices of the gluten free red velvet cake with gluten free oreo icing filling....
