Second time here and both experiences have been great. This time around we got two bento box lunch specials. They come with steamed rice, small salad with delicious dressing, two gyoza pieces, miso soup, and a four piece Cali roll plus your choice of protein. I got the Gen Tsao chicken and my wife got the teriyaki chicken, both were $10.99. A lot of food for a quick, cheap, flavorful lunch! We called in and it was ready in 10-15 minutes.

There is usually a 30 minute wait for take out orders. I don't think they allow dine in anymore, so do your fine dining elsewhere. This is my favorite spot for cheap sushi and filling teriyaki. The food is excellent and it feels like it was cooked and packed with care. The woman at the register is friendly. Don't go across the street - support an independent business that has served the neighborhood for years.

The lady at the register is very efficient. She keeps up well with customers and is genuinely sweet. The price is worth the yummy food. It’s not expensive and it’s plenty. This place is busy and steady with orders, so maybe order ahead of time. Great service and great food.

I got food poisoning so bad I was almost hospitalized. I couldn't walk for 24 hours and was bedridden for 3 days. (I ordered tofu fried rice. It was the only thing I ate that day.)

In response to the owner:

"Rice can contain the bacteria Bacillus cereus (B. cereus)

B. cereus is a heat-resistant spore THAT CAN SURVIVE COOKING and digestion. If left out at room temperature, the bacteria can produce toxins that make people sick. This is called "FRIED RICE SYNDROME" because cooking, leaving out, and reheating rice creates an ideal environment for the bacteria to grow."

It only takes once for this to happen, although many folks have ordered the fried rice and been perfectly fine, I was not. Instead of responding in outrage, I encourage you to improve your food handling.

Your food made me VIOLENTLY ill! I'm hoping others will not have the same experience however looking through your reviews I am not the only one. If you cared about your customers you would listen. I hope you have the day...

I have been here 3 times and only left with my food once. I am reviewing solely based off my one entree. They have an extensive menu. The first 2 times I called ahead , arrived after 20 min and still waited 30 min at which point I walked out. This happened twice after which I stopped trying to order for 3 years. The other day teriyaki sounded great and I figured I’d give them another try. Called the order in and arrived after 30 min. I ordered chicken teriyaki (breast only, white meat) 1 extra sauce and 1 extra salad dressing. It was $15.85 . Food was delicious, however it wasn’t a large portion, I’d call it average. I remember the days when teriyaki was 7.99 and if you wanted all white meat it would be $10 . Maybe that doesn’t exist anymore and 16...

Based on the outside I would have never in a million years walked into this place. It wasn't until my bf at the time took me here that I fell in love. First of all you walk in and it's very clean, very unlike the outside. The staff is incredibly nice. The food is absolutely the best part. My bf and I would share the "daily special" as it was enough for both of us at only $7.99. We did branch out a few times and get the fried rice which was equally amazing. If you are in the area and feeling some teriyaki, look no further than this little hub....
