Allstar Burgers — Restaurant in Tacoma

This place has pretty good food, the portions are generous healthy portions of fry’s, there is a charge for refills on soda. The prices are less than competitive for what you get. Most special made hamburger combos are only $7.99 yes I said combo so it includes fry’s and a drink, standard hamburger or cheeseburger COMBO is only $5.99.

I’m a little stickler about cleanliness and appearance and here is where I believe hurts their rating, I believe restaurants have an obligation to be clean and organized when serving us food. Yes the parking lot has been mentioned in other reviews as unkept and grungy looking. We were the only customers there and there were still some other lager vehicles taking up space in the already small lot.

Inside is less to be desired, floors don’t look that clean, the tables have what appears to be floor tiles which do not allow thorough cleaning between the square tiles. They have a family area left side of the ordering desk that has a recliner and TV for them to watch along with shelving their printer and other personal items. Looks very unprofessional, disorganized and make the seating are unclean!

Look through the pics and see what I mean. This place is not a dump but I believe they should clean it up inside and out to be a responsible respectable place to eat because the food is not bad, the prices are...

I don't know how they do it. All-Star Burgers manages to make some of the best burgers I've had at prices that are extremely competitive. Perfectly cooked patties, burger construction that leaves you longing for nothing, a ratio of wet sauce to dry ingredients that's just ever so right, and fries that are just the right amount of crispy, and flavorful to boot. No soggy disappointments here.

Sure, the building doesn't look the greatest and the decor is definitely not modern. But it doesn't matter, because you aren't eating your environment, and if you're someone who's a stickler for ambiance you aren't looking at fast food joints anyway. What All-Star lacks in style it makes up for in droves with flavor. It quite literally doesn't matter when your food is this good, at such a good deal too.

Don't let the building's looks turn you away, this place is a diamond...

I’m not sure why this restaurant has 4.4 stars. Here was my experience. I arrived at 10:36 to order a burger. The woman turned around from cooking and started to yell at me saying she wasn’t ready yet. I told her there was no reason to yell at me because her door was open. I left and go outside to see her hours and it says 1030am opening. So I go back in and tell her that and she starts yelling and screaming. I told her there was no need to get mad at me. I was just trying to place an order for a burger and the door being open and hours posted would tell me I don’t serve to get yelled at for walking in your business. You could have asked me nicely to wait and I would’ve made a purchase. I had to leave because the lady was very out of control....
